Now that the trailers of Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees and Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil are out, it’s time to the start the ‘IndicineFBO’ prediction of the two films.
Earlier, both films were scheduled to release on the Republic Day holiday which would’ve probably meant the combined collections of the two films could’ve crossed the Rs 40 crore mark. But with both makers deciding to release their film a day in advance to take advantage of the night shows before the holiday, we believe around 30-31 could be divided between the two films on the opening day – assuming Filmkraft Productions’ decide to go for a full-fledged release on Wednesday (25 Jan).
Kaabil is the smaller film of the two films, both in terms of star-cast and budget. The lead actors of both films are returning after box office failures – FAN tanked at the box office in April, while Mohenjo Daro was one of the biggest disasters of Hrithik Roshan’s career.
We start with 18 crore for Raees and 12 crore for Kaabil as the initial FBO prediction. The table below will be updated once every two days, a lot could change in the next few weeks depending on the response to the music album and promos.

Hrithik’s Carreer is badly going to touch o low level because of SUPERSTITIOUS papa Rakesh Roshan.Many times movies are shifted if a bigger stars wants the same date.Aamir shifted Talaash so Abbas-Mastan hav to Shift Race 2 to jan 26.
Rasees will thrash kabil for sure as the trailer looking promising… As far as day 1 collection is concern, it’s totally depend on screen count… According to me RAEES can collect 22cr and KAABIL 12 cr.

i think both movie doing well on first day but i prefer to raees over kaabil,my pridiction is,RAEES:17 Crore,KAABIL:11 Crore.
Raees has everything complete package, i think kaabil should postpone for their own sake nor for srk coz raees is gonna thrash it. Raees got everything Indian audience want the trailer is bu far better than kaabil

After raees trailer release the little bit scope left for kaabil to earn something at the box office is also gone!! They should gracefully shift their film like makers of golmal did n avoid their loss…farhan ritesh n srk went personally to his home to request him to avoid the clash..but Rakesh ji is himself responsible for this mess he has created!..
