Imran will beef up for his next movie just like many other B Town heroes.
Ajay Devgan was Vishal Bhardwaj’s first choice for his upcoming venture ‘Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola’. Now Imran Khan has been roped in as Ajay chose to play the lead in ‘Son of Sardar’.
Imran who has been admired for his boy-next-door looks in his films will be seen in a rusty and rugged look. Since Vishal demanded, Imran has joined an old akhaada in Juhu – Mumbai, to work out in the rough way with pehalwaans, which is also an exciting way to learn a few desi mannerisms for Imran.
Co-produced by Vijay Singh, the movie will feature Imran and Anushka Sharma for the first time.
Apart from Vishal Bharadwaj working with someone like Imran Khan, the fresh pairing of Imran-Anushka is also something to look forward to in Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola
