Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif’s Bang Bang is all set to release worldwide on 2nd October this year. Now, we hear that the film will release not only in Hindi, but also in two other languages.
Hrithik has a huge following in the Tamilnadu / Kerala and Andhra / Nizam circuits and the makers will be releasing Bang Bang in Tamil and Telugu to cash-in on his popularity. His last release Krrish 3, was the third highest grosser in TMK and Andhra after Dhoom 3 and Chennai Express.
Confirming the news, Vijay Singh, CEO of Fox Star Studios, said that Bang Bang is a real entertainer and hence he decided to release the film in other two South languages too. “It (Bang Bang) is a true-blue entertainer, and we are going to have the widest possible release of the film. We are releasing the film in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The buzz on the film is tremendous and we are going out to market and distribute the film day and date worldwide,” he said.
Bang Bang is an official remake of Hollywood flick Knight and Day starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. The shooting of the film has been wrapped up and the makers are set to release its theatrical trailer soon.

Jhoom 3 had brand factor which was created by none other than HR…so it is not that a big achievement as you fools are flying about..
Do Tamil/Telugu dubbed version of hindi film really gross much in south india ? I dont think so. As far i know Ra.One gross around 8/9 cr. from dubbed version, which were promoted heavily in south. Hindi films usually release in big cities in tamil nadu and andhra, not their interior. Anyhow, wish all the best for Bang Bang. Hope it will do smashing business all round the corner.
@bhojpuri babajee Ditto ritik created the Dhoom brand but only from the second installment of that franchise as John starred in first movie. So man of no wisdom explain to us mere mortals how then Ritik couldnt achieve the same success with his home made spin off franchise from Hollywoods X-Men series ie the Rohit franchise what Aamir achieved with JUST one edition of the Dhoom series and that is become the Biggest Movie Off All Time…??? Surely Ritik who established the Rohit Brand would have taken it way ahead of a brand John started which Aamir perfected one would assume but clearly audiences differ from your opinion aswell as facts dont lie.
Dont make a mockery of yourself- well no more than you already have with your recent claims of Hailing Sarkar- accept the truth which is that Aamir took the Dhoom brand with one stint to an unprecedented standing whilst Ritik the so called Brand Creator failed to match with 3 of his home pirated movies about Mutants…!

Hrithik could barely get the Blockbuster tag for Dhoom 2 and Aamir got the ATBB tag for Dhoom 3 so it was nothing to do with Hrithik. People went to watch Aamir and there was no Hrithik. And in overseas Aamir gets full credit as Krrish3 did around >50 crores while Dhoom 3 did >150 crores.

@Asad – Hrithik has already delivered many highest grosser of the year, including 2 highest grosser of all time (a record only matched by Aamir Khan), so don’t be surprised if he beats your “Khandaan” this year, too.

@Sid_Original – Dhoom 3’s record collection was definitely a big feat, regardless of franchise factor, which also helped it up to some extent. But, Aamir starring in first ever 100 crore and 200 crore movies consecutively is a bigger feat IMO, some of the biggest feats in Bollywood.
@Legend – Barely? Do you even remember the year 2006? Dhoom 2 was biggest opener and highest grosser ever at that time, a record which lasted for 2 years. It broke all the major records and became the first ever Indian film to gross 150 crore worldwide. Compare that to, Dhoom which could only get a Hit status at the BO and couldn’t break any record, it wasn’t even highest grosser of the year.
@Navin – Are you really that immature or you just pretend to be one? You call Krrish a spin off of X-Men films, I bet you just know some of X-Men characters and haven’t seen any of X-Men movies. There are thousands of Mutants in comics, if you try to create some characters with supernatural powers, you are bound to get some similarities with X-Men characters. NONE of the X-Men movie resembles to Krrish series story wise.
You like to talk about rip offs, now chew it, Dhoom 3 was a poor man’s rip off of a Christopher Nolan’s “The Prestige”. Yes, I don’t expect you to have any knowledge about a masterpiece like “The Prestige” like majority of Indians, so don’t act as if you are surprised. Not to mention the plot holes it had (the biggest one being not even showing a single robbery in a movie based on robberies LOL), and all the illogical scenes. I guess, you are not as smart you act to be, you can’t even spell the names properly, if do this for comedy, then you need to search the meaning of comedy.
BO wise, yes Dhoom 3 was huge, probably bigger than Dhoom 2 at that time. But, Dhoom and Dhoom 2 are no comparison, Dhoom was a just a HIT and Dhoom 2 broke all the major records and went on to become the highest grossing Bollywood film ever, while Dhoom wasn’t even highest grosser of the year.

John’s Dhoom was just a HIT,the Dhoom franchise which was made huge by HR’s D2…and D3 would have been ATBB with any of Salman,SRK or HR,so Aamir’s contribution was’nt that great.

Any superstar’s job is to provide a good opening bcoz of their big name…but the rest of the business depends on the film..
3i got very good opening courtesy Aamir…but it reached 200crs courtesy great script n direction…

Robbery scenes in Dhoom 2 were absolutely laughable and pathetic.
1.Guards couldnt see the statue moving in the background?
2.Guards couldnt see a HUGE toy car moving on the ground just 2-3 feets away?
3.Hrithik changes from an old man to young man within 2 secs of falling into dirty gutter?
LOL there are so many plotholes in Dhoom 2 robbery.
Aamir and YRF took a wise choice NOT to show such pathetic and idiotic robbery scenes. And noone watches Dhoom movies for robberies, they watch it for chase scenes.

He was perfectly looking like a statue in that scene, and no he wasn’t moving it all, he hid his wrists with his laptop.
At least they put some effort to show the robberies, and only people with limited brain would not want to see the robbery scenes in a cop/thief/robbery movie.
I agree your other two points could have been executed in a better way, but they were better than countless of illogical scenes in Dhoom 3, which will take a whole night if I sit to write them all.

@rohit i don’t know about you but camparing dhoom with dhoom 2 is just illogical. Dhoom was starring with 3 non popular actors and actress. Only positive as it backed by big banner still the movie was 3rd highest grosser of 2004, while dhoom was even more liked when it comes on tv and dvd. Dhoom 2 was a good film but it no where close to dhoom 1 which is best so far. The statue scene was illogical how come he reached to bunch of statues, in tight security. What is the need for abhi to use helicopter to catch a normal thief. Is its logical. So same happen with d3 too. It may be rip off from bollywood but it wasn’t the only flick who has element of hollywood. Same goes for ra1,k3 etc. So d3 success is as equal of aamir as you think its for hr for d2, as if it wasn’t a sequal than wouldn’t be a all time grosser that it was. Use your sense dude.
