Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan has said the success of his most recent release ‘Kaabil’, makes him happy for his father and producer Rakesh Roshan.
“‘Kaabil’ getting 200 more screens in the second week is a sign from the universe that one must just focus on good work and leave the rest to God. This is a huge victory. I want to thank all the ‘Kaabil’ fans for making this happen”
“It is unprecedented and I feel especially happy for my father who remains one of the few active and successful non-corporatised producers in our film industry. My gratitude to all the forces who made this happen,” Hrithik said.
Talking about the clash affecting the personal relationship between him and Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik said nothing has changed on a personal level.
“It’s not between me and Shah Rukh on a personal level. We are just actors and our equation remains fine. Having said that, if there are two good films made, they shouldn’t clash, it’s unfair”
“The only people who suffer as a result of it are the audience. It’s not feasible for them to watch both movies. It’s an expensive affair. At the end of the day, the industry too loses on about `100 crore worth of money. Every film should to be allowed to do their best. Such a clash is not healthy.”

Roshans are worst then ajay devgan…ajay spend more than 100 cr for shivaay although its hard to recover looking ajay starpower while roshans can easily afford and avoid clash as raees all ready delayed…Atlist vivek oborey have guts to spoke out while HRITHIK is just making fools…at which level they gone whole world knows…SHAME FOR HRITHIK ROSHAN…black hearted fellows
Collections and BO apart, if we compare the content of both movies:
Content wise:
Raees : Not up to the expectations people had after smashing teaser and trailer. The buzz was on another level but the end product does not meet the expectation people had but it just a good movie, nothing outstanding.
Kaabil : Many people had called it as crap going by Sanjay Gupta’s record. However he surprised everyone, After long time he made a something good after Kaante. Kaabil’s content actually surprised audience and it has expected expectations of many neutral audience like me (Salman fan).
PS : This is nothing against anyone but a honest opinion after watching both the movies.

How its trending better than raees
If it was any better it would have surpassed raees on day 2 itself.
Its just that raees has stabilized as its good to average film. Same goes for kaabil.
Compare footfalls if u are in doubt
Raees hit kabil hit…..atleast um not being biased. Its budget was low but everybody knows kaabil was sold at higher price to distributors…also its not a bigger success than raees.
Can’t stop laughing. I don’t think Hrithik is honest anymore. He says “only audience suffer from clashes because they get to choose one movie.”
The reality is that clashes are a win for audiences and loss for Bollywood. Because audience get to chose and watch the better film out of two films and the producers of the other movie lose money.
I will never believe Hrithik’s statements now. I have already lost interest in his movies. I had forgotten he’s the same guy who said Katrina’s best performance is in Bang Bang.

You charged KAABIL Distributors 50 Crores and asked them to pay for publicity costing another 5 Crores. Before opening day, You pocketed 15 crores of commission (KAABIL Budget = 35 Crores)
Please do not celebrate for movie that will be called “Average” at the boxoffice as it will fail to gross 110 Crores Plus. KAABIL may not be a flop, but it is neither a hit.
If you want KAABIL to be a HIT. Please pay back 20 crores to distributors now!
Public is educated enough to notice distributors must recover cost (55 Crores) and make 100% profit to call KAABIL a HIT (55 Crores + 55 Crores = 110 Crores)
Hrithiks payment has nothing to do with HIT FLOP status of a film.
Kaabil is a wonderful movie No doubt, with some Major errors. I mean how can a blind person dub?? Seriously…

Kaabil is an outstanding film saw it twice in a theater well deserved hit by hrithik roshan. Also liked raees full on entertainment film by srk. Looking forward to see jolly llb2, tepk, tubelight, robot2, padmavati, bahubali2 and tzh.
So if the content is good clashes cannot stop any films to become successful

Wished kaabil had a solo release agneepath’s record would have been broken easily. Also same with Mohenjo daro which i think was a pretty good film could have become average-semi hit if had a solo release. Been a huge fan of bollywood films since childhood esp actors from 90s era.

@hrithik seriously you liked kaabil? Even neautral people who are sensible would say that it was crap. How can a story about a blind married woman getting raped and then eventually commits suicide can be considered as a good content? It was just a regular revenge drama movie with violence and tragedy. Pretty much like ghajini. Raees was not good in terms of content but at least it was entertaining and far more enjoyable.

At 100 crores, Kaabil will be a HIT. As long as the movie has recovered investments and its on its way to profit making, the makers are free to have their success bash. What’s wrong with people these days? Congrats team Kaabil!

Box office India always under reported the collections of Kaabil by getting some money from SRK..but the superb acting of Hritik helped the movie to become a hit one…I loved the movie very much..what an actor.. what ever calculation it may be the movie has collected more than 90 cr..so its a smash hit…profit for the producer and nice movie for the audience..and sure next movie of Hritik will break all the records…the faith lost by audience has been restored very strongly by his superb acting skill in this movie…

KAABIL is rated 0.5 out of 4.0 stars by well known international critic on IMDB (Kathy Gibson).
She called KAABIL as it is, a joke and hrithik’s acting was so bad that he acted as if he was raped not his wife. Also, film has no story, no plot, no chemistry and nothing real to hold on to. its filled with empty boredom.
RAAES is rated 2.5 out of 4.0 by same critic.
New York TImes called RAEES **TAUT & SUSPENSEFUL**.
So how can you say KAABIL is even close to RAEES when it cannot even plagerize BLIND FURY + DARE DEVIL + BROKEN properly.
KAABIL even got to 75 crores net because it was pitted against giant RAEES. Had this released on valentines day (today) which it subject matter deserves, it would fail to cross 50 crores net.
