After the huge success of ‘Aashiqui 2’ in 2013, producer Bhusan Kumar had announced the third installment of this musical blockbuster franchise. He had also revealed that the next part of Aashiqui will be made with two relatively unknown faces and it would be releasing in April 2016.
But now if the latest reports are to believed, Aashiqui 3 will have one of the most popular faces in the country. According to a report on Times of India, Bhushan has approached Hrithik Roshan for the third part of Aashiqui.
Though there is no confirmation from any official source, the report suggests that they discussed the project during the shoot of ’Dheere Dheere Se’ song, which was recently shot in Turkey.
Well, if Hrithik has really signed this film, Aashiqui is surely going to be built into an even bigger franchise.

@Arjun, it’s not only Nipun who thinks Kites was a good movie. I myself liked it, people those who actually understood the movie, have liked it. It was way too out of the box romantic movie for Bollywood. At least they had a great vision and tried something different compared to usual Rom-Coms we have been seeing in Bollywood.
But, Bollywood was not ready for such movie, same with Guzaarish, Bollywood was not ready for serious topics like quadriplegia and euthanasia when ‘Masala’ genre was at its peak. Both of them would have worked in Hollywood and could work in Bollywood in future since it’s developing fast and serious movies like Haider have started to score at the box office.
I’m actually proud of him for working in those 2 movies.
Bang Bang was his weakest movie (thanks to the screenplay and direction) since 2003, but it still managed to have the best action scenes for any action movie in India up to date.

Hrithik used to be one of my favorite actors in KNPH days and even now I still adore him for his hard work and dedication and as human being. But the biggest thing I am disappointed was he manipulated krrish 3 by 60 Cr which is too much. I mean I can’t support even my favorite actor if he manipulates BO collections. Anyways i am waiting for Mohenjo Daro eagarly. I hope it turns out to be classic like JA.
