Following the stupendous response that we received for Best SRK Songs in our new weekly feature, ‘The Evergreen Songs’, we continue with the best ten songs of a star who became a heartthrob overnight with the release of his debut movie, Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. Hrithik Roshan has seen ups and downs in his career but his superstardom is unquestionable.

Whether it’s his stage performances at award shows or his film songs, Hrithik is one of the best performers and dancers in the industry.

So here goes the list of Hrithik Roshan Best Songs ever!

1. Kyon Chalti Hai Pawan: This magical song from ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’ boasts of soothing vocals of Lucky Ali, addictive tune by Rajesh Roshan and stunning visuals to say the least. Hrithik arrived and how with his first movie itself.

2. Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin: One of the best songs of the year from Agneepath, which fetched singer Sonu Nigam many awards. On debut Ajay-Atul did a fabulous job  with this situational song when Hrithik meets his sister for the first time in the movie.

3. Jashn-e-bahara: A.R. Rahman composed some of his best numbers for Jodha Akbar. Jashn-E-Bahaara had the spectular voice of Rahman’s protégé Javed Ali and it was picturized stylishly on Hrithik and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

4. Khaabon Ke Parinday: Sung soulfully by Mohit Chauhan, this song from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is composed by the trio of Ehsaan, Shankar and Loy. The song was filmed wonderfully with Hrithik being the central attraction.

5. Dhoom Again: ‘Dhoom Again’, the title song from Dhoom 2, is featured in the list only because of Hrithik Roshan. This dance number was composed by Pritam and sung by Vishal Dadlani and it had Hrithik doing some of the most amazing dance moves ever! Watch the video below, you’ll know what we mean!

6. It’s Magic: A song from Koi Mil Gaya in which Hrithik created absolute magic. This is the transformation song of Hrithik’s character in the movie, where he transforms from a mentally challenged Rohit to a normal human being. The song was sung by ‘Taz’ of Stereo Nation.

7. Zindagi Do Pal Ki: Although Kites failed as a movie, its music by Rajesh Roshan is evergreen. This song had beautiful vocals from KK and featured Hrithik opposite Barbara Mori.

8. You Are My Sonia: This song became a disco regular after K3G released in theatres. It also showcased the brilliant chemistry between Hrithik and Kareena. Sung by Sonu Nigam and Alka Yagnik, You’re My Soniya was composed by Sandesh Shandilya.

9. Main Aisa Kyon Hoon: Yet another composition that made it to the list due to Hrithik’s outstanding out-of-the-world dance moves. The song was choreographed by Prabhu Deva, sung by Shaan and composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy.

10. Dil Na Diya: Another brilliant dance song of the superstar from the superhero movie Krrish. It was Rajesh Roshan at the helm once again, with vocals by the very talented Kunal Ganjawala.

I wish I could include ‘Jaane Dil Mei Kab Se’ (Mujhse Dosti Karoge), ‘Kasam ki kasam’ (Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon), ‘Aaja Maahiya’ (Fiza), ‘Socho ki Jheelon ka’ (Mission Kashmir), ‘Sau gram zindagi’ (Guzaarish) and ‘Aye Dil Dil ki Duniya Mei’ (Yaadein). The idea was to take one song from one album so that all the deserving movies can be covered.
