Talking about his comments on ‘growing intolerance’ in the country, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has now said that he was never a victim of ‘intolerance’ and that he cannot ever complain that intolerance was shown towards him.
When SRK was asked to speak about Aamir Khan’s statement, Shah Rukh said “I can’t comment about anybody else, but I will say about myself. Even when I was giving that interview (to Rajdeep Sardesai), I was very clear that any of us (stars), irrespective of caste, religion, sex.. stars cannot complain about anything. We have received a lot from the nation.. so there is no reason to complain”
“Having said that, I don’t tell this to outsiders, but I tell my children.. if you want to progress, you have told let a few things out of your mind. You should think modern. Understand your work, try to understand people.. don’t decide and decipher on small issues like regionalism or religion”
“These are normal things, which everyone says.. but to take it out of context and say intolerance.. how can I ever complain that there is intolerance to me?” SRK said.

But what bothers me is how his statements were misinterpreted without knowing the context and the headlines were “Srk has said there’s extreme intolerance” similarly with Aamir where the headlines were Aamir wants to leave the country whereas he clearly mentioned that whatever his wife suggested is disastrous.

They have commented on the situation in the country as such. While Aamir clearly stated that things had changed in the last 7-8 months, SRK did not specify any time period.
Nutshell, both mean the same thing! Minorities do feel that there is intolerance. It has become like a propaganda now. Something that was started by Congress which stands to gain the most out of this.

In this statement, he said , we superstars can’t complain if we are targeted because of that so-called “intolerance”. And that is 100% true. If these Khan trio and others are uttering all that shit then no body will forgive them. Ultimately it’s people of county, who made them what they are today. So in that context, he clarified few things.
