Housefull 2 is the second biggest opener of the year after Agneepath. The film has opened to a massive response all over the country – best at North, slightly slower down South – and the collections have improved with each show.
With the night shows now expected to be packed all over (several shows are already sold out), the Day 1 collections are likely to be upwards of Rs 16 crore. The release is similar to Agneepath and Don 2 (Hindi version only), as both the number of screens and shows at multiplexes (due to the runtime) are almost the same. Note: The length of both Agneepath and Housefull 2 are about the same. Don 2 was slightly shorter, hence managed more shows at plexes.
The collections at several centers are similar to Don 2, which managed about Rs 14.5 crore on Day 1. But the single screen collections of Housefull 2 are better than the SRK starrer.
Early estimate / prediction – 16 crore for Day 1.
@frog you are true they all are just side actors but hritik also rocks he is gr8 in movie k3g koi mil gaya and kaho na pyar hai is greatest the blockbuster leave the king khan salman and akshay are not even comparable to even hritik
leave king khan alone even salman can not compete with hritik can he act like hritik in kaho na pyar hai

Don2 and hf2 have no comparison they r different genre movies and both r superb . This year will be year of talaash , rowdy rathore , srk next , ek tha tiger , outim 2 ,dabanng 2 and jism 2. Have fun dont compare them they r entertaining us which is very difficult so dont abuse any actor.Akshay ,Aamir and SRK rocksss
We criticise akki for his flops but see his acting in his flops !superb . We criticise srk for ra one but the movie although story was not good but movie bring a change in bollywood range and thinking . Aamir has all recent movies superb . But i must say the most memorable performance of recent years is of ranbir ( rockstar)
