Like we predicted after watching Housefull 2 last week, from the way the audience reacted to the film, it looked almost certain to cross 100 crores at the Indian box office. And guess what, Housefull 2 should be the 10th film to join the 100 crore club by the end of Week 3.
Week 1 was huge at 64 crores, even though the film lost about 5-6 crores due to IPL and other regional releases. In Week 2, Housefull 2 has sustained very well on fewer screens.
Below is our prediction for Week 2 and 3
- Week 1 – 64 crore
- Week 2 – 27 crore (2nd weekend should be 18 crores)
- Week 3 – 12 crore
Even with a drop of 70% in it’s third week, Housefull 2 should easily collect 100 crores. Since there are no major releases and the word-of-mouth is very good, it could beat Golmaal 3 as the highest grossing comedy film of all time*
It’s a hat trick of hits for Sajid Khan after Heyy Babyy and Housefull. For Akshay Kumar, it’s a much needed success as his last clean-hit was the first Housefull film two years back.

What is this obsession with 100cr!!! Nowadays its common for any film to reach 100cr aslong as its fully hyped and liked by da public at the same time. film making is a business like any other business what really matters or should matter is how much profit it has made not the fact that it has reached 100cr. films like kahani and dirty picture have made more money than some 100cr films eg ra.1 and don2. please bollywood critics and viewers get over this obsession of 100cr what mstters in the end is the film makes a profit of a good margin.
BOI says 20cr 2nd weekend… and another 10cr weekday… so 64+30=94cr in 2 weeks. no major releases till TEZZ… so happy run towards 100cr….:)

Housefull 2 continued its strong run at the box office as it collected around 6.50 crore nett on its second Saturday. The collections are just 50% approx lower than last Saturday.
The two day total for its second week is around 11.25 crore and a minimum 8 crore nett can be expected on Sunday. It will be the best second weekend of the year as beating Agneepath which collected nearly 15 crore nett.
The film is doing extremely well all over be it multiplexes or single screens in all circuits.

now days 100 cr is not a big thing..it is usual..it is one of the disaster i ever watch..i like welcome partner readdy but this is one of the worst..still it can reach 100cr..but other biggi nowdays reach this 100 cr maximum 8 or 9 days

housefull2 is very nice movie special cridet goes to akshay methan and rethesh. we have on suggestion to sajid khan director of the housfull 3,plz in housefull 3 cost star no 1 should be akshay and nixt hero should be govinda. i think these two star akshay and govinda make housfull 3 a block busster movie thanks.
Akshay is back with a super success of Housefull 2. It should easily cross 100 crore. Due to IPL matches Housefull 2 is still strong. IPL matches won’t affect it’s collections. After that Rowdy Rathore should be a blockbuster which is released on 1 june.
went yesterday to cinema to see this film although I wasn’t so encouraged to see it, coz I didn’t like the trailer, and I loved Houseful1, it’s trailer and the movie.. so went to see it and thought might be someting similar, although some friends didn’t recommend it.. what a crap crap film!! this kachra did more than 100crores in India!! why?! ppl love any shit films the producers would offer!!
first 30 minutes was boring, then started little to be good.. so I was a bit awake.. then again..the 2nd half was awful, stupid, silly comedy.. wonder why Rishi Kapoor agreed to be a part of this film.. and hahaha.. some r comparing it with Agneepath! Blind ppl for sure!!
