Highway has collected around 4.2 crore on its second day at the domestic box office. Business in almost every center picked up by around 20-30%, a few high-end multiplexes were up by 40% on Saturday.
The Imtiaz Ali directed film has collected Rs 7.7 crore in 2 days and should collect around 12.5 – 13 crore in its first weekend. Morning shows on Sunday were higher than both Friday and Saturday.
The extent of drop on Monday will decide if the film can go on to be a clean hit at the box office.
The other release this week – Darr At The Mall has collected 1 crore on Saturday to take its 2 day business to Rs 2.05 crore net.

I just saw Highway today and it is a brilliant movie . The story is fantastic although the pace is slow . Music is soul touching especially Patakha Guddi . AR Rahman is a maestro his best album in 3 years after Rockstar . Alia Bhatt has delivered a power packed performance and Randeep has also done a great job . Imtiaz Ali is a brilliant director . Special mention is for cinematography by Anil Mehta which is one of the best i have seen in recent times . 4 stars from me . Highly recommended . Please guys look at the content and do not listen to anybody . I hope Highway becomes a hit .

Highway is not for all type of audience who expects routine fares it is a typical imtiyaz ali’s movie ali Bhatt was just awesome acting was at her best finally movie is worth watch I loved d movie alot !!! N Randeep’s acting was superb
