Highway has collected Rs 13.6 crore in its first weekend at the box office. The occupancy and growth over the weekend was similar to Hasee Toh Phasee, but on lower screens which is why the weekend business is about 20% lower.
The film opened to a decent response on Friday and picked up almost everywhere on Saturday and Sunday. The night shows on Sunday at select high-end multiplexes were running close to full capacity.
Monday business is down by around 40-50% for the morning shows compared to Friday.
The other release Darr At The Mall has collected Rs 2.3 crore in its first weekend.

- Friday – 3.47 crore
- Saturday – 4.63 crore
- Sunday – 5.5 crore (approx)
- First Weekend Total – 13.6 crore

Excellent movie..thousand times.better then south Masala remakes and stuff..Alia was just too good..excellent performance…deserves some recognition ..Rand eek was brilliant too..Over all a nice effort. .
They should release this film with more than 2000 screens so that collection would be 12crore+.
