In 2016, domestic film business of Hindi films has crossed the 10 crore mark on 20 different days. Akshay Kumar (Housefull 3 and Airlift), Shah Rukh Khan (FAN) and The Jungle Book dominate the list. Tiger Shroff has made his presence felt in the first half of the year too.
As the industry gears up for the biggest release of the year so far in the form of Salman Khan’s Sultan, the film has the potential to take all the Top 5 spots in its first extended weekend and could possibly take more spots in the Top 10 if it finds appreciation.
It must be noted that no film in 2016 (so far) has managed to make it to the all-time list of Highest Single Day. A film needs to collect 25 crore or more on a single-day to be eligible to make it to that list.

Alot of people expected FAN to hold all the records in the first half of 2016.
HF3 was also expected to collect more than 150cr and have a 20cr+ opening,150cr is still very much possible,but today’s collection will matter.

Btw, Shivaay will be among top 3 or even in top 2 of the highest opening day of the year.

bt its also a blessing in disguise as the emphasis is so much on content that even akki knows he has to do atleast 1 solid movie every year to keep his stardom alive

And Karachi, Pakistan i am the eye witness when i faced problems for buying a ticket for Housefull 3 on Saturday night.

Happy for Akshay and the entire team of Housefull 3.I don’t know why but comedy movies rarely get their due.It’s really tragic that some pseudo critics and award functions are so biased towards them.
Anyways Akki is emerging as the most versatile actor in Bollywood.Want him to do one more comedy film with Priyadarshan.

Globally rejected film FAN is not a target to achieve for Hindi films this year.
Main target for Hindi films to achieve THE JUNGLE BOOK lifetime collection of 185cr

H3, TJB and Baaghi have done really well this year . Today’s collections of H3 becomes really important to give a clear idea about the lifetime collections . If it sustains well than it has an opportunity to surprise everyone . If it drops badly than the lifetime collections will not be huge as collections drop all over the weekdays . If it difficult to say where H3 is going . The first 2 days were good but nothing extraordinary but Sunday’s collections has given a huge boost and that makes it really tough to say anything . I did not enjoyed H3 but let’s see what happens !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
