Priyanka Chopra’s latest release Gunday is her third best opening of all time, behind Krrish 3 and Agneepath. Her co-star in both her highest opening films is Hrithik Roshan.
The first day business of Gunday is about one crore higher than Don 2, which released on the same numbers of screens (2800) in December 2011.

Ranveer Singh has taken the third spot (after Aamir and Salman) of all-time biggest BO Openings of YRF films knocking down YRF long time favorite SRK. History has been created. Way to go, Ranveer-Arjun!! At least have some shame now, SRK!
gunday was all element to make movie huge like super starcast,superhit music,huge promotions,biggest banner of the country but jai ho was none of these benefits.jai ho collected that much just because of salman,s starpower and nothing was in the favour of movie,also trailer was come just 1month ago from release even don2 was huge benefit with same ticket price as jai ho like it was huge brand with great starcast with huge holiday but jai ho collected more than don2 and screen count does not matter or help to movie collect big.so now its clear salman is the biggest superstar of the country he does not need anything only his face is enough to collect 100cr.wait and watch for kick it will be huge 45cr opening is gurantee for that movie.

SRK’s last yrf film JTHJ clashed with SOS,also the music of jthj was’nt that hit.
RNBDJ was released way back in 2008,films that time did’nt used to get such huge openings.
Even opening of Gunday is bigger than 3 Idiots,Dabangg,Ghajini,Ready

Except for Anjaana Anjaana and also maybe Dostana and Barfi! she was not the STAR, the lead of the film. In all the others, she is basically the supporting eye candy.
