Akshay Kumar’s Baby is still going steady at the domestic box office, but the film will fail to beat the 2012 record of Agneepath (starring Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra) and should also fall 15-20% short of last year’s highest January grosser Jai Ho (featuring Salman Khan)
While Baby still has an outside chance of crossing the 100 crore mark, it looks difficult at this stage as the film has only collected Rs 78.67 crore in 11 days. Only three films released in the first month of the year have crossed the 100 crore mark.
Amitabh Bachchan’s Shamitabh is the big release this week, a film that is expected to take a decent start at the box office.

I think most of us suspect films like Bol Bachchan, Race 2, Ek Villain, Grand Masti are not real members due to exaggerated collections or as Jaadoopurians favourite mathematical word is- Manipulated…!

Mujhee Doubt Hota h Kbhi kbhi . Akshay ki movies almost housefull hoti h sb jgh par ye collections km q aate h . even neeraj pandey was shock to see the 2nd weekend collections as the film was running vry gud…something is black in daal !! anyways it’s a hit !!
@Nipun, maybe because Agneepath wasn’t a masala entertainer like Dabangg, Kick etc. It also had too much violence and gore. It did very well considering it’s still highest grossing movie in January.
Sad to see Baby not earning as much as it earned respect. Still, it will be remembered as a great movie, 100 crore or not.
Now its time 4 akhay to think that his star power is on question now he is fail to pull audience on start almost in his all last recent movies akshay is very good and still better than every 1 except khans

I am so sad that Baby not become 100 crore movie but for me Baby is Super Hit i said before its release that Baby is not coming for collections and beat records of box office, i said that Baby is coming for many awards and several awards for critics.
