A clash between ‘Hero’, a film starring newcomers and a established franchise like ‘Welcome Back’, could have proved disastrous for Eros International, other investors and actors involved in both the film.
However, better sense has prevailed and ‘Hero’, produced by Salman Khan Films, has been pushed ahead by a week.
‘Welcome Back’ will release on September 4 and ‘Hero’ will release a week later on September 11.
Sources say, the decision was taken after ‘Kya Kool Hain Hum 3’ and ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’, both previously scheduled for September 11 release, were postponed.
‘Pyaar Ka Punchama 2’ is expected to release in the last week of September, while Kya Kool Hai Hum 2 will release later this year.

At least one clash is avertrd..both films will now have good opportunity to score well in their opening weekend

Next news is sanjay leela bhansali push his release by 1 week and will release on 25th December…But no takers as dilwale Tsunami would have arrived by then crossing 250 crore already in a week and cinema owners don’t want to remove any of the screens……and bhansali satisfies with 20 crore total lifetime collections!!!
