The last couple of months has been hectic for Shahrukh Khan. Soon after the success of Chennai Express, he started shooting for his next titled ‘Happy New Year’. The cast and crew of the film recently finished shooting for first schedule in Dubai.
Happy New Year marks the returns of the ‘Om Shanti Om’ team of SRK, Deepika Padukone and Farah. The cast also has a long list of actors like Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Jackie Shroff, Vivaan Shah and Sonu Sood.
Talking about the film, Shahrukh said “The film is very new. It’s an ensemble film. It’s not just a Shah Rukh starrer. It has Deepika, Abhishek, Boman, Jackie Shroff, Vivaan Shah and Sonu Sood.”
“I think I am doing an ensemble film for the first time. The beauty and newness of ‘Happy New Year’ is that it is not a hero or heroine oriented film” Khan said.
Happy New Year releases during the festive season of Diwali 2014.

The problem with SRK fans is that they treat SRK as the almighty GOD. I think SRK is a selfish and cunning business man. He blocked Son Of Sardar’s screens and told Ekta Kapoor to postpone her film OUATIMD which was ready to release on Eid. SRK got the benefit of Eid weekend holidays. SRK should stop abusing his power and stay away from politics. If it wasn’t for Rohit Shetty, he would have been stuck around just 120 crore margin. It was Salman Khan who brought back single screens through movies like Wanted and Dabangg! So SRK just took an adavantage of it. From 2010 to 2012 the business grew due to Salman Khan hardcore masala movies. I am sure Aamir will put SRK in his place.
