The last couple of months has been hectic for Shahrukh Khan. Soon after the success of Chennai Express, he started shooting for his next titled ‘Happy New Year’. The cast and crew of the film recently finished shooting for first schedule in Dubai.
Happy New Year marks the returns of the ‘Om Shanti Om’ team of SRK, Deepika Padukone and Farah. The cast also has a long list of actors like Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Jackie Shroff, Vivaan Shah and Sonu Sood.
Talking about the film, Shahrukh said “The film is very new. It’s an ensemble film. It’s not just a Shah Rukh starrer. It has Deepika, Abhishek, Boman, Jackie Shroff, Vivaan Shah and Sonu Sood.”
“I think I am doing an ensemble film for the first time. The beauty and newness of ‘Happy New Year’ is that it is not a hero or heroine oriented film” Khan said.
Happy New Year releases during the festive season of Diwali 2014.

Unlike other superstars who gives credit to themselves if film becomes big hit and if they knows that film will fail them they sideline from promotions etc etc. Hats off to SRK

Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan feels that box office records are meant to be broken.
“I don’t do films to make records. Every film will make some record…It’s stupid to think records will not be broken.”
“Any good film will do well and it feels fantastic when such film does well. It’s important to make better films. The film (Chennai Express) had finest commercial director…great actress Deepika…It feels heartening to see this kind of response,” SRK said.
Shahrukh and Deepika-starrer ‘Chennai Express’, directed by Rohit Shetty and released in August, has earned Rs 220 crore at the box office.
“There are so many platforms to release a film today. It’s natural there won’t be a golden or a silver jubilee today. There’s speed today in terms of theatrical release and enjoyment of a hit film is amazing,” he said at an event.
With the trend of sequels, the actor ruled out any “concrete plan” to make any second instalment of ‘Chennai Express’.
The film will be premiered on television tomorrow.
The actor said director Rohit Shetty and his co-star Deepika deserved awards for ‘Chennai Express’.
“She (Deepika) looks beautiful. She is very hardworking and a good actress. She was amazing in ‘Cocktail’, ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’. Deepika has done a good job. She made the film (Chennai Express) lovable and hit through her role as she represented south India,” he said.
Shahrukh will be seen with Deepika in Farah Khan’s ‘Happy New Year’ along side Abhishek Bachchan, Vivan Shah, Sonu Sood and Boman Irani.
“Farah has said dancing in this film will be difficult. We are working on this film and its great fun,” he added.

Seems like indicine & srk fans have nothing good & useful to do except for displaying & commenting on his ugly face regularly on indicine. Better promote the younger stars and others who needs to be promoted rather than a star who is in twilight of his career, ce was the most luckiest & the biggest FLUKE hit ever in bollywood history, such a silly movie deserves to be a bigger flop than ra.1. Anyway ce will be the last atbb of srk’s career and hny will be not more than a superhit (that too if it gets many holidays) only because of hype & over-promotions.
