Haider has collected Rs 6.14 crore on its opening day at the domestic box office, a good start for a film released on 1250 screens and against a big film like Bang Bang.
The film is carrying fantastic reports, arguably the best of the year so far and comparable to the response that ‘Queen’ got when it released in March this year. Haider is expected to grow over the extended 5-day weekend and could collect somewhere between 35-40 crore, depending on how well the family audience respond to the film.
The opening of Haider is the second highest of Shahid Kapoor’s career after R… Rajkumar and also the 2nd highest of Shraddha Kapoor’s career after Ek Villain.

Bong bong is a holiday release n look at Haiders collections- 6cr so hardly worthy of being called a competitor IMO- south films collect more than that when released during khan releases so shut your mouth n accept the harsh reality- against all the odds Bong Bong is a worse film than the original Knight n Day- hardly surprising when you see how good Cruise is and Diaz- OMG shes a million times better than Kat in acting terms n Cam still has those girlish looks to entice the young male audiences like Kat so overall K&D still a better film…! Yesterday I called to my friend who is die hard hr fan from our college groups as coincidently yesterday was his birthday and he watched bang bang in Chennai.
I asked him about the film he said the film is OK and because he seen Knight and Day Earlier said that Knd is way better than each segment than Bang-2 apart from Hrithik charisma.He also said that its almost similar to KND but the sequences and location modified unlike Agneepath which had uniqueness in plot despite bring remake. So 3/5 from his side.
I think what went wrong with bang-2 as far as critics concern that hrithik good films track record and amazing teaser which unnecessarily create more than enough hype which is required.Some time mamooth expectation kills the movie and if bang-2 wom is not been more on positive side it will crash from Monday.

those complaining negativity…….i can say with 100% confidence….every time a movie or even a song/trailer is released of srk, the amount of negativity spread is far far more great than for any other star/movie. i have seen it numerous times.
bang bang is receiving average/negative wom due to huge expectations we had from it which unfortunately were not fulfilled. otherwise bang bang is not a bad movie.

I will watch it after Eid as it’s too crowded in the malls, I’d love to see this film.. what I expect, comparing Haider to Bang Bang: Bang Bank is a full entertaining package, makes u laugh, enjoy the scenes even if there were unrealistic scenes, but the audience will enjoy and will have a good time watching it and would leave the theatre with a smile on the face. Haider is a good serious film, but not for all the audience, it won’t give u a smile, it’d touch you heart only.. that’s what I think without watching Haider.

Katrina. Honestly she gets to work with superstars only . I like Deepika she works with every star.
