Gunday has witnessed drops in the range of 20-28% at various centres across India, with both single screens and multiplexes slowing down considerably on Day 2.
The reason for the drop could be because Friday was a holiday in parts of the country for Guru Ravidass Jayanti and also Valentine’s day, which tends to help business in Urban centres. Also, Gunday was running at 60% plus occupancy on Friday, which is quite high considering all factors like star cast and screen count.
As per early estimates based on collections from a few centres, the Saturday business of Gunday is likely to be around Rs 11.5 – 12.5 crore. The two day total of the Yash Raj Films’ production is around 28 crore.
Gunday is likely to see a decent jump in business on Sunday, but the total is unlikely to be much higher than Friday. First weekend business is likely to be around 45 crore net.

Apart from those above mentioned film he hos given above average films like kismt konnection,badmash company chup chup ke,36 china town he,he also did films like chance pe dance ,dil bole haddipa and pathsaala and those were not romantic films and he did very good acting in them, he also did fabulous acting in films like shikhar,fida,mausam where he played both harry and harrinder singh with equally ease also in teri meri kahani where he played 3 charrcters maturly even in phata poster nikla hero his acting was highly appreciated but just because those were not hits so no one acknowledged them and i do agree he has a bad script sense but still in those bad films his acting was always very good and after mentioning all those one can see that he always did different kind of fill but with a weak script and to be honest he is the most versatile actor among young genaration but still the media projects him as a lover boy by underestimenting his films and talent and you are talking he is here in this industry cause of media support then you need to get a life a life to know the truth that media always criticised him never supported him frankly speaking he is the most underrated actor but i can see the how tallented he is that is why i am his fan and will always be there to support him and anyone will degrade him then that person must be ready to take it back for his favourite.

@aeeyy this argument can also apply to akshay and you compared Shahid with imraan and ranveer singh both of them in my opinion are not good actor and one is media supported and the other is here cause of his mamu while Shahid doesn’t have any one of them,you also said Shahid is here cause his name linked to some actresses by saying this you are not only insultin his talent but also his fans tell me how you feel when i say the same stuff about akki and i agree ritesh have 100cr movie and even ranveer,ranbir have 100crore movies and their success ratio is more than Shahid at this moment while Shahid doesn’t have any 100cr movie but you insulted Shahid’s talent which is not acceptable cause i am his fan for his acting,dancing and his hardwork and in my opinion he is a real struggler has never got any thing in his life in easier way but never lost faith in himself and still give his 100% to his roles,films and you can’t simply degrade his tallent cause of low success ratio at this moment compare to the others i mentioned above and i even don’t want to analyse how media support raveer,ranbir or with which big actress and production house they are working with cause i believe in Shahid and his talent and no hits and flop will ever make anythin difference for the love respect i have for Shahid caue he is my inspiration.

@aeeyy,I saw holiday’s trailer,very good,although it didn’t show much fights,but it’s action fights far better than ghajini.but it didn’t matches with DON/DON2 in any angle.I don’t say these as a SRK fan,but DON franchise is the best action movies till date in bollywood and excel entertainment knows it better.however I found most of the SRK’s film SRK 1st beaten then he beat those enemies which really suits him and looks so realistic.that’s what SRK always likes to do.but akshay is also very good in action even better than SRK before.but his injury made him to do comedy movies.but akki’s khiladi786 are really pathetic just like salllu’s dabang,bg,ready etc.
