Great Grand Masti, which was recently passed with 22 cuts, finally has a release date. The third film in Indra Kumar’s popular sex comedy series will release in theatres on July 22 2016.
First announced for theatrical release in March this year, Great Grand Masti was indefinitely postponed after the CBFC took objection to a few scenes in the film.
The makers filed an appeal at the Film Certification Appellate Tribunal (FCAT) which recommended 22 cuts.
Great Grand Masti stars Ritesh Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, Aftab Shivdasani, Urvashi Rautela, Shraddha Das, Mishti, Pooja Chopra, Sonal Chauhan, Sonali Raut, Pooja Bose and Sanjay Mishra. It’s the third film in the series after the success of Masti (2004) and Grand Masti (2013).
It’s also the most successful sex comedy series in Bollywood, but releases at a time when the genre is failing at the box office. Films like ‘Kya Kool Hain Hum 3’ and ‘Mastizaade’ have performed poorly this year.
Great Grand Masti releases a week before Varun Dhawan’s Dishoom and two weeks after Eid release – Sultan and Raees.

This film will become blockbuster, I am sure this will be entertaining. Some will comment here these movies should be banned against our culture bla bla…. But when they watch American pie other english stuff, there view bollywood can’t do such why these double stranded I don’t think any thing wrong with these people just keep ur mind outside the theater & watch it. These Movies are strictly for adults then what’s the problem in it….
From the time of release I will pray Dishoom Raees Sultan releases within a blink of an eye time frame.
The genre is d problem… As so far 2016 is proving to be more of strictly an acting oriental year rather than…. comics like this. Well if it goes down well then okay no probz buh personally I feel it will be very tough. Many ppl will save their money for not far away blockbuster classics releasing within that period.

Within a decade.. From starring Vivek Aftab Ritesh (barring AD) from 1st installment.. Now it’s Ritesh Vivek Aftab. Though must say Ritesh despite his supporting roles has done justice to himself and the audiences during his acting career till date. Very hardworking actor.

I have doubt how can salman’s every movie passes the censor board passages.as each frame of whole movie full of out of logic.
oh I forgot censor board only cuts adult scenes not illogic scenes,if they would have cut those illogic scenes then salman would have cut from bollywood,ALAS.

Paglapur or lungipur where no one watches Salman movies, thats why Salman have highest number of Blockbusters, HGOTY, 2 HGOTD, a 300 crs grosser (in India) and 600 crs grosser (Worldwide). Be thankful that Salman had worst or low phase in his career and gave those flops else SRK name would have been wiped out or SRK would have been left with no face saving situation !!!!!!!!!!!!
