Two Akshay Kumar films – Neeraj Pandey’s Baby and Krish’s Gabbar – were both scheduled to release during the ‘Republic Day’ weekend in 2015. To avert the clash, Gabbar has been postponed to a later date.
The film, also starring Shruti Hassan and Sonu Sood, will release just before the beginning of the next season of IPL on April 3rd.
Interestingly, as things stand today, both films are scheduled to clash with other big releases. ‘Welcome Back’ will release on January 23rd 2015, while Kabir Khan’s ‘Phantom’ starring Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif has been announced for a April 3rd release.
In other news, Action Jackson will now release on December 5 (confirmed), The Shaukeens could be pushed ahead by a week (not confirmed) and Ungli which was recently announced for a December 5 release, could release sometime in November.

Thats why i should start calling u the biggest loser on this site..and don’t try to fake love towards akki in future..whats ur problem if he does 4-5 films a year..he is giving us more choices,he is attempting every possible genre these days which certain stars don’t.
April is not a bad release time…HF2 did it…Gabbar will do it..
We should not expect huge no. of 200crs but it can certainly be Akki’s highest grosser…
Also releasing after baby will be good coz baby will ensure trust among moviegoers towards him..

I don’t have Akki’s New Phone Number. I think you have it as you work with him Houseful 2. I need Akshay to do my Bewafa Sequels: Bewafa 2 and Bewafa 3. Bewafa 2 is to be released on Dec 7 2015 and Bewafa 3 on Jan 23 2016. I know he is the only actor that can do two sequel movies in one time and agree to a movie after another. After all, he is “An Industry By Himself.”
And it would be too much too see Gabbar and Baby Clashing. Akki always rocks….
