After ‘Gabbar’, ‘Main Gabbar’ and ‘Gabbar Returns’, the makers of Akshay Kumar’s next have finally decided to call their film ‘Gabbar Is Back’.
Gabbar is a character name from arguably Bollywood’s most iconic film of all time ‘Sholay’. The character in Ramesh Sippy’s 1975 blockbuster was played by Amjad Khan.
‘Gabbar Is Back’ is a remake of Vijaykanth’s South Indian film ‘Ramana’. Akshay will be playing a larger-than-life character of a do-gooder, who takes law into his hands to bring justice to the poor and eliminate the corrupt. While Shruthi Haasan plays the lead, Kareena has a cameo in the film.
Directed by Krish and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali films, ‘Gabbar Is Back’ releases in theatres on May 1.

I hope Gabbar is Back is a good entertainer.. because if this film is as bad as Action Jackson or Himmatwala, then it will affect the business of Akshay’s Brothers..
Brothers is one film which I feel will not only be Akshay’s biggest grosser to date.. but it could be his first film to collect 20 crore+ on opening day.. even though it releases on non-holiday..
Krish is a good director though.. He is the director of Telugu films Gamyam and Vedam
btw who is gabbar?why he is back?i dont know why this title is chosen.gabbar or main gabbar was much better title.

it’s a given that GABBAR IS BACK will b a bo failure
so taking it into consideration akki on may 2015 will have just 4 successful films(semi hit to atbb) out of his last 11 releases in lead role.
that means a success rate of just 36.5% which is lowest among all the big stars and he has just 2 super hits+ film in last 11 releases.
now that’s a really disappointing and embarassing stat for SUPERSTAR akki and his fans

Main Gabbar was a better title. I seriously feel that this film won,t work at boxoffice. Only Brothers will be game changing for Akshay.

I feel the producers and the director were not satisfied with the title and that is the reason they were continuously changing titles but i hope this is the last time and this should be the final title of the movie . The last time if i remember when the titles were changed many times was also an Akshay starrer . Once Upon A Time In Mumbai 2 was changed to Once Upon A Time Again and finally it was Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbaai Dobara . I hope to see the trailer of Gabbar Is Back in 7 days because it is the right time to release the trailer . Best Of Luck Akshay i hope GIB is a good movie and expecting a brilliant performance .
