Akshay Kunar’s Gabbar Is Back has collected around 11.5 crore on its second day at the domestic box office.
The drop of around 10-15% was mainly because Friday was a holiday in parts of the country and single screens business was down a little after a good opening day.
Gabbar Is Back has now collected 24.5 crore in 2 days and should collect around 38-39 crore in its first weekend at the box office.

100 crores would be difficult for the movie in case the Sunday’s collection isn’t more than 15 crores

No matter what above 90 crore is a good collection for AK movies considering he do 4 to 5 movies in a year.And guys please yahan fight suru may kar dena ki khan ,hr,rk .aj,kon bada hai 4 to 5 films in a year is not a joke you have to risk your stardom every time and we all should respect that and admit that

akki fans are saying that first day was having holiday in non hindi belts..
mind well -maharashtra , gujarat , both are included in biggest contributed circuits for bollywood.
maharashtra comes in cp berar while gujarat is included in mumbai circuit.
now coing to non hindi belt – in mysore , where it was holiday , gabbar did highest opening day numbers for any akki starrer.
so cant make argu that gabbar was not having advantage.
it is there that it faced competition in maharashtra from regional movie.
but gujarat is considered as biggest contributor in mumbai circuit after mumbai city.
there also gabbar didnt take bumper opening.
so its fault of either akki’s star power or akki fans.
now his fans will never make doubt on his so called starpower so guys please accept that u all are busy on bashing khans and hrithik on internet but are not interested to see akki’s movies on very first day in theaters.

25 years industry me hone ke baad bhi jo banda 2012 me rowdy ke baad 3 saal me ek bhi bar first day pe 15 cr cross na kar paye uska star power sab samjte hai.

For all akki haters. First of all u are talking about 200 or 300 crore club its is because of khans and hrithik single movie comes. So they will get 4500 to 5000 screens and they will release their movie in festivals. With increased ticket prices. We all know what happen to jai ho. And this tym ipl is in full swing. Plus movies like avengers already have a strong buzz from its first part. So dont give a stupid comment. U all are aware of the reality. And doing 4 to 5 movies a year with all diff genere is a big task. Even salman khan says about akki that no one grown as an actor as akshay kumar does. So keep quite and enjoy gabbar. And haters F.O
@ranbir rox Akki has done much more films then ranbir and akki does 4 films a year so he will have more flops than ranbir and what about Saawariya,rocket Singh,besharam,anjaana anjaani,royRoy etc
