Director Ali Abbas Zafar has wrapped up the first schedule of Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Sultan’.
“First schedule of Sultan wraps today. 20 days down, 90 more to go. Scenic beach from set window make the day” Zafar tweeted.
The upcoming movie is reportedly based on the life of a wrestler, essayed by Salman Khan.
The actor has gone through intensive training for wrestling and mixed martial arts for the film, which has international action director Larnell Stovall.
The leading lady of the film hasn’t been finalised yet. A source close to the film informed that the announcement will be made soon. He also clarified that the film is on schedule to release in theatres during Eid 2016.
Sultan is being produced by Yash Raj Films.

Lallu lal was defeated by even the likes of emran hashmi, imran khan and fardeen khan when he clahsed with them. That shows that even those flop actors were bigger stars than lallu lal chapal wala. Lallu chapal ki dukaan us relying and existing in the industry only because of eid, diwali, Christmas and solo releases otherwise hid stardom is even lower than flop actors. @Chinna Pilla Idiot, first of all, there would not be a clash between Bajirao Mastani PRDP in the same week.
No exhibitor would have allocated BM against PRDP as PRDP was the immediate Salman film after hugely popular and successful BB. Remember Salman bhai is not Dhobi RAM LAL (the so called king of clash) that anybody dares clash with. Maybe they could have released it in the following week just like mere brother ki dulhan after Bodyguard.
Secondly, SLB would not have clashed with Salman and Salman is SLB’s mentor according to SLB’s own confession as well.
