Director Ali Abbas Zafar has wrapped up the first schedule of Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Sultan’.
“First schedule of Sultan wraps today. 20 days down, 90 more to go. Scenic beach from set window make the day” Zafar tweeted.
The upcoming movie is reportedly based on the life of a wrestler, essayed by Salman Khan.
The actor has gone through intensive training for wrestling and mixed martial arts for the film, which has international action director Larnell Stovall.
The leading lady of the film hasn’t been finalised yet. A source close to the film informed that the announcement will be made soon. He also clarified that the film is on schedule to release in theatres during Eid 2016.
Sultan is being produced by Yash Raj Films.

Yes Dilwale isn’t what you call Masterpiece but it is surely something great and different. A director who is known for making mindless comedies this is what you call his movies. But did you find any cheap humour, vulgarity etc. in any of his movies. A great director like Raju Hirani has used a cheap dialogue(Balatkar in 3i and Condom in PK) in both films that he made with Aamir. Sadly people accepted it because he is not Shahrukh Khan so everything is good.
Yes Dilwale isn’t what SRK is known for but Dilwale is definitely the best movie in its genre which is action comedy. As an actor its his responsibility to make movies for every section of the society and arguably he has done well at least with Dilwale. He has made multiplex oriented movies in the past but just 3 masala movies and you’re saying this.
SRK is an actor who has provided gems of Indian Cinema with his movies in the past. He has done almost every kinda movie except a satire on Indian RELIGIONS because just a misconstrued statement has lead to so much hypocrisy then you may yourself imagine what would have happened.
And Dilwale never looked a different niche or epic movie on papers as the Director isn’t known for it. The director is known for CLEAN ENTERTAINING FAMILY movies. Where Dilwale is 1000% perfect.
Fan is going to be a treat for Fans of every actor. You just have to feel as if your fav actor is in that movie and correlate yourself. And people say its going to be flop and all.
My dear friends and SRK haters, time will tell what will happen to Fan but please try to become human being rather than being human. Watch a movie for what it is made not for bashing it. FAN’s teaser has been universally accepted and its clear its going to be big. And there is a big chance that FAN’s trailer will come with Airlift. So two great things will happen together. Enjoy both as a Bollywood lover not a particular star hater.

Only small stars like srk, Ranbir, Akki etc need content to give successful movies. Megastar Bhai is capable of giving blockbusters even negative WOM. Eg- ETT, Bodyguard, Dabang 2 etc collected almost two times of most of the content rich srk movies like jthj, don2 etc that too with average content…

Just because Sultan looks a commercial film, it doesnt mean that it will not have a content. A film must be both commercially viable and content-oriented just like BB and PK to score big at the BO. And Sultan looks like it will be another BB.
Manjhi, Dhobighat, Taalash, Sawdes, Phir Milengi and others are content oriented but not so commercially viable.. they didnt score big at BO.

as a srk fan, i dont want srk to postpone raees after seeing the effects of the clash with bm. if srk looses to salman, i want him to take it on the chin rather than running. even if he looses, that will still make the score 1-1 as srk has already defeated salman in the past. but by chance if salman looses to srk in his best phase, then there wont be anything to argue. either way this clash will most likely put an end to fanwars. the better wom film will win the lifetime clash for sure but what i want to see is the 1st day collection of sultan/raees. salman can take an excellent opening no doubt but can he do it against srk? can he defeat srk on the opening day or will srk again defeat his opponent on the opening day like he always does & this time to salman in his best phase? that is all i want to know.
