Thanking everyone for the outstanding response that his latest film ‘Airlift’ has received, Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has said films like these come once in an actor’s lifetime.
His statement:
My Twitter feed has been flooded with #Airlift, so much positivity and love…I couldn’t have asked for more and for sure wasn’t expecting this much hence feeling very overwhelmed.
While most of you have written I should do more films like Airlift…I wish I could but honestly films like these come very rarely, almost once in an actor’s lifetime and I am extremely fortunate to be a part of it. Thank you all for everything. Love and prayers always.

CDI rocked due to Srk’s outstanding performance + Content while Airlift rocked only due to good content, Akki’s acting was nowhere near Srk, it was good, but not great.
@Undertaker – Akki was way better…if we want to compare movies, better parameter is always imdb and not collections…People vote after they see movie…airlift will have highest imdb rating for any indian movie…collection wise also I will say if we compare with chak de, its trending has been better…also status will be blockbuster while Chak de india was superhit/hit

The movie was just designed for any actor to come and do a patriotic film even though the makers made a fool of us making us believe such hero ever existed. shame for that lie on republic day.
