The Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards was held last night in Mumbai. Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan won the most number of awards. Apart from ‘Global Icon Of The Year’, Shahrukh shared the ‘Most Glamorous On-Screen Couple’ award with Kajol and his last release Happy New Year won ‘Most Glamorous Film Of The Year’.
Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karan Johar, Sonam Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra were the other big award winners.

I think awards became publicity stunt for organisations to grave TRPs on TV and all other media and awards are money making machine too that’s why they always awarded srk.

A question to some of the “fans” here who often compare their actor with Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan and even declare that these are the only 3 legends of Bollywood.
Why is Raj Kapoor not in your list? Magazine awards have become a criteria for being a legend? Not disrespecting Dilip Sahab or Big B in any way, they will always be legends but why only these “2”? (And of course the third one whom they worship!)
Why ignore Raj Kapoor? Dharmendra? Rajesh Khanna? Not even mentioning actors of this generation (including their and my favorite star) because I know they don’t come anyway near to “THE” legends like Raj Kapoor.
It’s your choice whom to call a legend but at least don’t shame your actor by calling someone a Tingu/kid or whatever. About Filmfare, the less said the better.

If you are talking about 20 years, Salman movie was first to cross 50 crores, 2 highest grosser of decade, broke liftime collection of Sholay, 4 Blockbusters to his name which were more than your kings BB before 2000 decade. Now talk about present, 7 movies in 100 crore club, almost 2 movies in 200 cr club (ETT 199), 3 consecutive highest grosser of the year, 5 consecutive BB – 4 holidays & 1 non holiday.
