Q. Who has more chances to get Filmfare Best Actor award in 2015? And what’s your nomination?
A. Salman Khan is the top contender to win the Filmfare Best Actor (popular) award this year and it would be surprising if he doesn’t. Unless Ranveer Singh comes up with an extraordinary performance in Bajirao Mastani, it will be between Ranbir, Salman, Akshay this year. Ranbir has performed very well in Tamasha, but for a popular award, a movie also has to do well. The same applies for Ajay and Akshay. Both their films weren’t hugely successful at the box office. The problem with Filmfare is, they haven’t been consistent over the years. For example, SRK in Swades was undoubtedly the best performance of the year, but the movie didn’t work at the box office. He was also nominated for Veer Zaara, which was the more popular movie and performance, but didn’t win the Filmfare award. In 2006, Hrithik was nominated for Krrish and Dhoom 2. Krrish was rated as his better performance that year, but he won for Dhoom 2. It’s been difficult to understand Filmfare’s choices over the years, so it would be disappointing for millions of fans, who are expecting not just a Filmfare award for Best Actor (Salman’s first), but also a national award for the superstar. Popular nominations could look something like this (so far in 2015) – Akshay Kumar for Baby, Ajay Devgn for Drishyam, Salman Khan for Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Ranbir Kapoor for Tamasha. SRK, whether his performance is good or bad, always gets a nomination. So he’s likely to be the other nominee, along with Ranveer Singh for Bajirao Mastani.

i think srk will win filmfare award this year too as he won for dtph and kkhh.except 4 ranbir filmfare hates Ajay , akshay ,amir n salman .filmfare can even create a new category for srk as they they have no means to fecilitate him in 2014 .trendsetter of the year for chennai xpress
For your information Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar or Aamir Khan do not accept any awards because of the illegitimate way these organizations handle the systems. I remember once Akshay actually gave his award to the person he felt deserved it. Let SRK pay his money as usual to get his awards. SK, Akki and Aamir have the backing of their fans and that’s all that matters.
I think I will agree with @Sky.You can’t even compare Film fare with National. Am not looking at Film fare any can win but for National the 2 most realistic contenders are Salmn Ajay. Ajay has won it 2 wice more than any actor of his generation till date I doubt any A list actors having more than !. So 3 will be too much for Ajay. Salman was fantastic in BB. Akki I think for us that are use to skin to character acting today if Aamir Shah Ajay do a fantastic role we take it to be normal knowing their acting department as @sky stated. Akshay did a much better role than his previous so definitely even though never in the same dept with Srk AjayAamir . Baby performance was something public Akki doing for a long time and they got it ,a new innovative Akki. That’s why his much talked about baby performance is mentioned and worth being mentioning but this is India,Bollywood National for that matter. Akki hasn’t reached that level yet that’s the fact so forget National but he can get what Shahid got last year the filmfare award.

i will vote for srk only.so i am not voting.
And indicine SRK isn’t getting any nomination this year. Even last year for HNY he was not nominated. Even filmfare has understood nominating such a crap performance will only impact their brand. For dilwale dont expect any acting in it and no award nomination either.
Of the current lot, Hrithik is the only one who gets nominated every time whether his film is flop like Lakshya or Guzaarish (by the way both are definitely award winning performances if only films were commercially successful) and also for his poor films like last year’s Bang Bang which had its only nomination at awards events with Hrithik being nominated in best actor category.
I’ll go with Akshay Kumar for Baby.. He was outstanding in that film followed by Ajay devgan in Drishyam.

How many National you guys want to give Ajay? He should relax he has 2 already. For me and I know many it should be Salman Khan. He deserves this. Blockbuster upon blockbuster a unique role in BB so Give it to him!!!!! At least an appreciation for giving 3 hatricks for 200 crs movies. Film fare give it to a first timer that has been due since like an Akki so sad no any major awards. Srk could pull a suprise string but people like Srk too I am sure does not care about the lower filmfare . I tip him for National next year.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan is the best film since 3 idiots without a dought,i see BB wining alot of awards,i mean the film was amaizing in all areas.
BB is a masterpeace will be remembered as the film loved by both audience and critics just like 3 Idiots.

Salman already got his biggest award for Bajrangi Bhaijaan in terms of love and support from audience. Neither him nor his fans care for such awards. His performance in BB was above all awards hence I voted for Ajay Devgan for Drishyam but I know Filmfake will either give it to Ranbir or SRK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Salman should have won this for hahk, hum saath saath hai, tere naam and dabangg but surprisingly he didn’t but this year he will surely win and he deserve that too. But if consider filmfare and salman relation he wont. but screen award and other awards are his. who says akshay’s performance in baby was award worthy. I mean the movie was good that does not mean he should get that. I think ajay amitji ranveer and nawazuddin along with salman would be top contenders
i am 100% sure salman will not get filmfare award as there are many good performance by other actor. He might only get nominated. As a fan of salman i want him to give us a entertainment movie that is what i want from him. I never cared for award he get or not. It is only when i first visit to indicine and went on to comment section the user used to talk about award that their best actor got. Did aamir got any ff/national award? As i look at his film than there are 4 or 5 film for which he deserve award. Does actor like anupam kher, nawazudin, irfan khan, om puri, paresh rawal, manoj bajpai,nana pataker, etc., get award? If so then i think no actor will get award apart from these type of actor as these are the actor who can over shadow other actor of film industry. For me from the list given by indicine i think akshay has given a better performance in baby than salman in bb, cannot say about drishyam as it was a remade and have not watched tamasha. So till now akshay lead. It’s my opinion don’t take seriously
