Rajamouli’s narration for Baahubali starts off with Shiva (Prabhas) who is found by the villagers in a river. As Shiva reaches the top, he meets Avantika (Tamannaah Bhatia) one of the members of a team which is protesting against the cruel kingdom of King Bhallal. As the story moves forward, Shiva discovers some of the unknown secrets around his life. From where on the story takes a big turn-
Flash Back-
Devasana (Anushka Shetty) has given birth to Bhallal (Rana Daggubati) and at the same time she decides to adopt Baahubali (Prabhas) who has lost his mother at the time of his birth. As Bhallal and Baahubali grow up, the fight for the kingdom begins where in Bhallal has the hunger to be named the King of the Kingdom. Bhallal has always tried to finish Baahubali so that his way to become the King is clear, but he has always failed. Then comes the big “WAR SEQUENCE” where in Kalakeya wants to become the king of the Kingdom which is currently ruled by Devasana. Out of Baahubali and Bhallal, the one who kills Kalakeya will be named the King promises Devasana and that’s where Bhallal starts his dirty politics to reach the top.
What happens next? Will Baahubali and Bhallal defeat Kalakeya? Who out of the two will kill Kalakeya? Forms the basic plot of Baahubali.
After directing cult classics like Eega, Maagadheera and many more, Rajamouli is back as a director this time around with India’s Biggest Motion Picture. Right from frame one, you can witness the epic scale of the film – be it the waterfall sequences or the entire kingdom, the shot taking by Rajamouli will leave you spell bound. The director has his own way of shot taking and that is what makes Baahubali special. The sword fights and the war sequences are shot in a manner which no one can ever imagine. Like all other films directed by S S Rajamouli, even Baahubali takes its own time to establish the characters and plot in a unique manner. Just when you begin to think that Rajamouli is taking too long to get the things going, there comes the genius with a epic pre interval sequence where Shiva manages to take his mother Devasana from the Kingdom.
Post the interval, the film moves at a razor fast speed as something or the other keeps on happening. As the story enters the flashback mode, the drama and the action begin to unwrap like never before. The huge canvas, the grand sets, the breath taking shots – The second half of Baahubali itself is worth the price of your ticket.
Like the cast of the film has been mentioning everywhere, the war sequence in the climax is the highlight of the film. What is innovative is the war sequence is – The War Sequence is not just about bloodshed, but it is smartly directed along with a lot of emotion going around the scene. The way Rajamouli has shot the entire war sequence is absolutely commendable as he has shot them at par Hollywood standards at 1/10th the budget of those films.
The music of the film in Hindi is disappointing and could have easily being edited to cut short the length by 15 minutes. The screenplay of the film is a bit hazy in the first half, but shifts the gear in the second half. The background score is another positive part of the film. It is so haunting and at times gives you goose bumps. Action is OUTSTANDING and it is one of the major highlights of the film.
Don’t miss the cameo of Sudeep and Rajamouli in the film. (Keep your eyes wide open)

I was the same guy who was and is the biggest enemy of @Suresh Sukhinath Subhramanium AKA SSS and we had epic war last year before PK release and I thrashed him so badly that he could no more reply me. from today on wards my bashing will be on nonstop. the teaser is crap as usual.

After reading the comment section and most of positivity, I have expectation of wonderful teaser but disappointed big time. The first 30 sec has srk popularity video and next 30 sec is his fan Gaurav trying to copy srk signature steps.

@challa sorry to say but to release fan on non-holiday was not choice of srk or yrf but its their necessity. Already Sultan vs Raees, Shivaay vs AdHM clashing on big festive. Srk don’t want to clash fan with dangal due to Aamir Christmas track record and fan’s Zoner. Cant release even post IPL due to raees release. The film is srk-yrf than why to think about heroine.

When HNY released, they trended on twitter #HNYBestFilmEver, and now are calling FAN and RAEES “content-driven” films even before they have released, infact 1 year in advance. ??
@challa seriously Talaash was promoted huge, hahaha. The promotion of talaash was no where close to Ghajini & 3I. Moreover Talaash was postponed by Aamir from post IPL to November end. Regarding promotion we know no one promoted his films the way srk doing but we have seen where he is standing against Aamir’s films.
Regarding Dangal, yes it won’t cross pk 720 cr ww figure which is too huge but I can assure you Dangal will be bigger success than Raees whether domestic, overseas or worldwide.
Don’t underestimate the audience pull of Aamir khan. Dangal will have biggest buzz on 2016 just like Ghajini had.
