Two YRF films – Shah Rukh Khan’s FAN and Salman Khan’s Sultan – will be screened at Asia’s premier film festival, often called the Cannes of Asia – the Busan International Film Festival.
The festival will also serve to kick start the campaign for the theatrical release for both films in South Korea as YRF continues with their commitment of taking the best of Indian cinema to International non-traditional markets.

Director Maneesh Sharma’s Fan will screen in the A Window on Asian Cinema section, one that is vied for by many Asian filmmakers. An archetypal Indian film story narrated and presented in a sleek, internationally appealing format, this screening highlights recognition for the film’s unique content. At Asia’s largest film festival, where 300 films will be screened from 29 countries this year, Fan has a special marquee screening position.
Director Ali Abbas Zafar’s record-breaking blockbuster, Sultan, will be screened at the popular Open Cinema section at Busan. A line up of Asian films that draws maximum audiences, Sultan, with its winsome story, captures mainstream Indian cinema’s best qualities. With memorable performances from Salman Khan, Anushka Sharma and its ensemble cast, cinema experts at the festival will keenly watch this film.
FAN, released in theatres in April this year, collected Rs 84.5 crore at the domestic box office and fell just short of the 200 crore mark (186 crore gross) worldwide. Sultan was released during the Eid weekend. The film collected Rs 302 crore in India and went on to amassed more than 580 crore (gross) worldwide.

Mohenjo Daro was screened at 58th Locarno fil Festival ( International Film Festival ). We Hrithikian’s were praying Indicine to post about it. But they didnt gave a damn.
Hence proved, Indicine was also against MD. Many times Indicine has mentioned, media was against MD since the day trailer was relesed.
Fact is Indicine was also against MD.

SULTAN is a great choice, last year Bajrangi Bhaijaan also screened in Busan International Film Festival and it got the Standing Ovation from 5000 people, and now this year Sultan……Great Going Salman…..
FAN is really a bad choice there are other great movies which they can take, but I think it’s because of YRF……Again Srk backed by the YRF….

Non actor lallu through out film did non acting in phultan,and only shown one wrestling step with one suplex move what lallutards are thinking wrestling,rofl.sab EID ka jalwa hain,otherwise this gunday legend’s movie wouldn’t deserve even 50cr too though they used KING KHAN’S NAME in the movie.last not but not least @indicine what a joke??????record breaking movie phultan?????really?????but HNY’S OPENING+PK’S LIFETIME at still safe infact Harshali Malhotra’s bb record are still safe.non actor has no aukat to break a single record,rofl.

Fan is crap film of 2016 and over hyped by critics is not deserve any award for 2016. Because of animated acting / copy act from kangana from TWMR/ srk’s same acting in different films/ DARR copy
