Stars from the Hindi Film Industry have been promoting Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film ‘Rustom’, but Tamil superstar Rajinikanth, who didn’t even promote his own film on Twitter, has wished Akshay luck for his film which releases in theatres on August 12.
“Dear @akshaykumar … I wish you all success for your forthcoming release #Rustom” Rajnikanth tweeted on Wednesday.
Actors like Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha and several others have backed ‘Rustom’ and promoted the film on social media. But someone like Rajinikanth posting about ‘Rustom’ does come as a surprise.

From what I saw since sunday to date really proved that there’s unity and harmony when we see something worth praising …Facebook and Twitter alone was the main source…hence 4 a while now I will ignore some awkward comments and baseless accusations….. 2 big movies from 2 big stars are releasing so I also will wish both Hrithik his 4th 100 cr with minimum verdict of Hit status and Akshay Kumar his 3rd consecutive 100 cr in a calendar year.
Am watching MD for sure,agreed too Hrithik seems the only outcast now if he turns MD fortune then that will be a terrific response to those who thinks his secluded idle,one man army promotion could be an obstacle..while unlike Sib and H3 and most Akshay movies which reviews normally hindered me from watching them will change…Rustom trailer was briiliant…with or without positive reviews before end of the month I will also love to watch Rustom.

This scenario looks like it is not a clash between Mohenjodaro & Rustom, it is a clash between Mohenjodaro & Trade/Other Bollywood Stars. Though Hrithik & Akshay are taking it sportingly. Trade and bollywood stars are setting a bad example.
First: What is there in Rustom that other hindi movies did not have. Films like Sultan, Fan, Bajirao, Tanu n Weds, Airlift etc.. all these were good movies but not even a dog came in support of them. Why support Rustom during a big clash? Indicine should explain this.
Second: Was Trailer & Music of MD so bad? Not at all. It was good and fans could still come to watch a Hrithik movie with Average trailer. So why is Trade cursing MD trailer?
Third: Why a big budget and out of box movie like MD is not supported in Bollywood. What are they worried of?
Fourth: The Trade experts which talks about MD story inaccuracy is not talking about the inaccuracy about Rustom which is a story of just 50 years ago? No navi man is supposed to have a Moustache during 1950/60s in Indian Navy how come Akshay have one in film?
Fifth: When in entire India, the shows of MD & Rustom are equally distributed in Multiplexs and MD leading in single screens. How come Rustom have a edge?
Sixth: Why is Zee network not showing any thing about MD. Are they paid to do so?
No one can answer all these. This proves the bollywood industry is sulking that there is no unity among them. Only Khans are allowed to rule. I will not be surprised if the same media gives negative rating to MD to bring it down.
In hyderabad, MD is being played in more screens than Rustom & occupancy is better for MD compared to Rustom.
@Flop kumar Hollik. Ajay is busy competing with even megastars like Salman and Shah Rukhh on You-Tube beating the likes of them and also his movie is already tagged hottest movie by trade 90% of it being the 2nd or 3rd highest grosser of the year with much better opening than Rustom with clash too. Concentrate with battling with Jadoo boy stop going off point. Many Ajay fans on socio media are giving Rustom a nod so don’t be rude to any fan dude.

Dont force Salman fans to bash Akki, even 2 crs foot falls is distant dream for any Akki movie (solo).
