English Vinglish star Sridevi organised a special screening of the film for her family and friends in the industry. Her daughters, husband Boney Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Vidya Balan, Poonam Sinha, Sonakshi Sinha, Zarine Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Amitabh Bachchan (who makes a special appearance in English Vinglish), Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit and several other stars were present at the premiere.
