Ek Tha Tiger is likely to fall agonisingly short of the 100 crore mark after 5 days at the box-office in India. Early estimates suggest that the film has crossed 20 crores on Sunday, taking the 5 day total to Rs 98 crore nett.

To add to the historic 5 days in India, Ek Tha Tiger has done well in the overseas markets too. The film has collected Rs 16-17 crores in the first extended weekend (released in US, UK, UAE, Australia on Wednesday, rest of the countries on Thursday). The ban in Pakistan meant that ETT lost around 6-7 crores.
Worldwide 5 day total is 113 – 114 crores.

Just saw the movie yesterday…….contrary to most of the reviews on internet, the first half is surprisingly good and refreshing. Both are agents of their own countries and the restrictions of emotions is well understood. The only flaw that i felt was that the movie suddenly comes to an end, and i still wanted it go further……lol, and people sat through the song Mashallah, which was cool.
Katz and Sallu chemistry rocks, and again this is contrary to what most of the reviewers wrote. I felt the first half was better than second, and the opening action sequence was brilliant. May be the rumour on agencies interfering with the script would have been the reason for the changes in the ending of the movie.
The film looks set to get in the 200 cr club, as the morning shows are all full in most of the multiplexes, and evenings are fast filling up.

@katie the cost of Ett is 75 crs. Source indicine, taran adarsh, komal nahta, yashraj and box office india so 5 sources confirmed its 75 crs including the publicity. So movie is already blockbuster just after six days and it will end up as all time block buster.
@ berfi. Yashraj would give the actual totals and reason behind that if they will show more collections they will have to pay more tax. So they have to show the exact figures or may be less if they want to save some taxes.
I see some people are still not satisfied with the business of Ett after 5 days. 98 crs in five days and life time of don 2 and ra1 in just 6 days what else do u need. It’s beyond historic.
