Viacom18 has released ‘revised’ figures of Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam. The film has collected Rs 53.24 crore in 13 days at the box office.
Drishyam will collect around Rs 18 crore in its second week, which is a drop of 50% from Week 1. The film has sustained well, but the opening weekend business pretty much sealed its fate at the box office. Competition from Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Baahubali was another reason why Drishyam couldn’t go on to be a successful film, even though the word-of-mouth was good.

we all know why producers adopt such kind of cheap tactics…to bring in the audiences but this even failed here(drishyam being a good film).
and people chanting srk/hrithik as king of manipulators should know suleman bhai’s kick figures too were manipulated.bb dd extraordinarily well…so no need of it.else salman will do the same
but still i think this difference in figure is not healthy for our hindi film industry..we should have accurate tracking system
@Tiger the real king, well said. Global clown and roshans are biggest manipulators. Crappy old year didnt even cross 160 Cr domestic and krrish 3 didnt break YJHD’s record. But what else can we expect when we have the biggest manipulators like Global clown who not only manipulates BO collections but also his disaster movies’ verdicts. As far as I remember, my name is Ratoon was semi hit at most. Ratoon.one was disaster and Donkey 2 was above average. But still the king of manipulattors manipulated to hit verdict to save his luti Hui ijjat. Aamir khan and Salman khan are only trusuperstars who break record without manipulations and shatter it like in chutki.
