As expected, Don 2 has done well in the overseas markets on it’s opening day. The film opened on Wednesday in United Kingdom and the response was fantastic.
Below are the collections from UK, Australia and a few other places.
- UK Wednesday: £117,138 (Rs 97 lakhs)
- UK Thursday: £86,675 (Rs 72 lakhs)
- Australia Thursday: Australian$ 28,244 (Rs 15 lakhs)
- Few other markets Thursday: $400,000 (Rs 2.1 crores)

I still didn’t see it but I’m expecting it as a v good action thriller film and better than part1.. the response is very good in our cinemas and everone liked the film.. Shahrukh is everything in bollywood.. that’s what he is in fact.. see how ppl welcome him everywhere.. when he visits any country.. but.. do they do this for Aamir, Salman, Hrithik or any other actors in bollywood?! That’s the magic of shahrukh khan and jealous people (always) want to bring him down and make him fail.. jeaous and haters.. hope u all vanish from his world!

After Don 1 In Don 2 SRK has again proved it that he very well knows how to characterize perfectly in negative tone. On the other hand Amitabh in his version of Don had done nothing except to repeat his well known angry image just like Deewar or Zanjeer. No characterization; just repeating same style and anger with artificial manner dialogue delivery. Shame to this Lambu Buddha….. He should learn acting from SRK-
Whatevery may be the box office result of Don 2, SRK has proved it that after The Original Superstar Rajesh Khanna, it is SRK who has the guts to carry on a picture on his own shoulder that too with negative characterization. Just like RK’s Red Rose or Dhanwan or Amar Deep. In their comparison the Fake AB has shown nothing except to repeat himself in film after films with sub standard dialogue and cheap comedy and dances etc. The Buddha has been kicked out by the audiences since 2005 onwards but still manages to sign films for earning money like a beggar. Shame…

BG opened on EID after fully starved month because of ramzan.
Give DON-2 EID release friday with holiday. I’ll guarantee you it will be a 25 crores opening first day like Ra.One’s sunday.
be realistic in comparisons. SRK will comfortably beat Sallu’s BG if released on EID holiday following ramzan when no big movie is released for 6 straight weeks.
Salman is superstar but SRK is univerally accepted loved & admired. Sallu dont have that acceptance.
