For all those who mail us for box office updates on Blue, All The Best and Main Aur Mrs Khanna, here is a quick box office update on all the three Diwali releases.
- Blue – Has crossed the 30 crores mark (6 days) in India. Had a great Monday, followed by an expected drop on Tuesday but the movie is pretty steady. All eyes on the second week now, can it sustain beyond Week 1? Wait for the verdict next week.
- All The Best – Is starting to close in on the collections of Blue and on Wednesday crossed the 20 crore mark (6 days). The movie is expected to do well in Week 2 as well. HIT looks very likely.
- Main Aur Mrs Khanna – Has crashed on Tuesday, Wednesday. DISASTER.
Overseas
- Blue as expected has failed to make any impact. Action films rarely do well overseas and Blue is no exception.
- The other two releases too have recorded average collections.
Our predictions (final nett gross in India)
- Blue: 57 - 60 crores
- All The Best – 45 – 48 crores
- Main Aur Mrs Khanna – 15 crores.

ya.. even i feel 55cr for blue s most likely.. overseas `ll add another 7-8cr.. n satellite rights n music,.. another 15-20cr.. n star cast has reduced its price bcoz of big budget.. so it `ll be a earner for shree asthivinayak… n hit for akshay. sanju baba `ll 1vve 2 hits. 1st actor to get 2 hits released on single day i guess…;)

guyz the budget of blue is around 70cr….so it will need more than 70cr to even recover its costs….which is very quite unlikely now….for hit status it will have to earn 80cr which seems impossible…..akshay’s bad year(2009) continues………hope de dana dan is better…its promo is looking interesting to me

dear nivedh just check the diffrence between the gross collection and not net collection , u’ll get to knw the difference between what Blue has earned what ALL the best has earned . just check out it’ll open ur eyes which is a better movie and liked movie as well.

there has been absurd comments about the recently released movies, come on, be a man and shoot straight, whether its SRK , Akshay or Sanju, lets be clear, BLUE has done decently well during its first week run, including overseas collection, and lets hope that it will continue for this week too, the fact is BLUE is well shot and good movie to watch, and deserves a good collection.

films like blue come very rarely to hit us ..we should appreciate the guts of the people who make such misadventures…these people put their money at stake to bore us we should atleast pat them for their efforts
this is all dir. mistakes …. for the whole nonsence and careless in the quality of film….. i think he has gambled with akki’s stardom…also not justiced in the direction…….they made it very light……this is all the result of their careless…… anyway film could be the best with twists and thrill..but not so impressive work…anyway…i dint enjoyed it as i was excited for it
BLUE film is good to see. Once we can see this film. But the story line is very shot. All the best is a excellent movie. comedy,romance,songs are very pleasent to here.In BLUE film also fantastic songs.But campare to ALL THE BEST movie BLUE movie is little bit slow box office collection. I hope that LONDON DREAMS will rock the movie in this year Best of Luck.
