The director of Nayak, a remake of tamil blockbuster Mudhalvan, has apparently approached Shah Rukh Khan for his next venture on Bollywood. Grapevine says that Shah Rukh has agreed to feature in the movie as Shankar’s recently released film ‘Sivaji- The Boss’ starring superstar Ranjinikanth has highly impressed SRK with regard to his directorial skills.
Apparently Hrithik Roshan was considered for this project. But he had date problems as he would commence shooting for Krrish 2, and so Shankar opted for Shah Rukh Khan. The movie is said to be titled Robot and is a sci-fi flick. Gravevine says that Shah Rukh Khan’s will be producing the film for Shankar with the post-production in the USA.
Shankar is a very popular director of the Tamil Film industry. Most of his films have been mega blockbuster and and are dubbed into other languages especially Telugu and Hindi.
