Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale is nearing the end of its run at the box office. The film has collected Rs 145.34 crore so far, it should be able to add around 3-4 crore, to take its lifetime business to around the 148-150 crore mark.
The drop on 4th Friday is around 85% as compared to 3rd Friday, because the film is running on very few shows at multiplexes this week. The fourth weekend total is likely to be around the Rs 1.75 crore mark.

A movie grossing 350 crores WW is underperformance the you can imagine what actually his level is. The only problem with Dilwale was under reporting from Media. 2650 screens were termed as 3000 screens.. If 150 cr is underperformance for SRK’s standards then what will you call a release for an SRK movie in just 2650 screens in India.
Do you really think it isn’t his stardom which has resulted in 22.5 millions overseas in lest than 20 days. For a movie like Dilwale which is termed as a very very very poor movie of SRK these collections aren’t a proof of his stardom?
Do you really think any other actor whose movie’s content isn’t liked excellently but average can earn this much in such circumstances when there were protests when the movie didn’t get premium single screens. You must remember that in just 2650 screens the movie collected 65 crores in its first weekend with clash.
And lastly u talked about North America. A suggestion for you search the web and you will find out the screen difference.. Ticket price difference and footfalls. You will understand where your knowledge lack. The main intention of EROS ams SLB was to dent DILWALE’s collections and they succeeded. As they booked SS for a purpose BM didn’t even have 35% avg occupancy in SS in its first weekend. SRK has proved that his worst movies can earn big and now even a 10% better movie than HNY and DILWALE he cam destroy all records. So gear up for FAN and RAEES.

Thank you for manipulating numbers. First u manipulated Ra.One collection by adding 10 crs then u manipulated Ready collection by removing 5-7 crs.
The only saving grace for Dilwale and SRK is Indicine.

I loved reading your article. It requires tremendous amount of guts to be so objective considering you have been FAN of SRK for the past 10yrs.
SRK has taken hindi cinema to the another level and only a fool can deny that but Dilwale was made with a sole intention to top PK and enter 300cr club. Film looked sloppy.

I think FAN will be dark horse at box office. I said again and again that dilwale has not failed at box office. Reason behind the failure of dilwale in india is spreading negativity not only the film but about srk too. Thus, common people were misguided by some organisation. If people forget about the srk’s comment on bloody topic intolerance then You will get surprise to see the hungama at ticket counter. Critics like anupama chopra will become singer at time of fan and singing all the day through all medium and ”fan- the amazing movie” will be the lyrics of that song.
According to #indicine and all trades a Bollywood movie can get 5000 screens maximum (PRDP- 4400-4500).
But according to srk fans (eg- aman) PRDP released on 5800 screen in India. Those idiots must be living in either paglapur or bakrapur where PRDP got 5800 screens…
