Dibakar Banerjee film will be challenging, excited to work with Parineeti: Arjun Kapoor

Filmmaker Dibakar Banerjee’s upcoming directorial venture ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ will mark the reunion of the ‘Ishaqzaade’ stars Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra.

The two actors, who shared excellent on-screen chemistry in ‘Ishaqzaade’, were last seen together in a television commercial.

Talking about their second film together, Arjun said “The excitement for both of us is there. We have been in touch since ‘Ishaqzaade’�. But we have not actually worked together for a while. We did an advertisement in between”

“Even though there will be a comfort, but there will be nervousness of working again with the person you know” he added.

Arjun who was recently seen in ‘Mubarakan’, a film that did fairly well at the box office, says he is really excited about the ‘challenging script’.

“The material that we have is so challenging and demanding that it is going to be a very different experience for both of us as actors because of Dibakar Banerjee Sir. I think it�s a challenging script and fascinating. So, coming together and working with Dibakar Banerjee Sir in itself has two of us excited” Arjun said.

Parineeti was equally excited about giving the audience ‘something intense’.

“After ‘Ishaqzaade’,�Arjun and I used to dream about working with Dibakar one day! His films are so different and always make an impact. I am so ready to bite my teeth into this character and give the audience something intense!� she said.

‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ is the story of a man and woman who represent two completely different Indias. The film releases in theatres next year.
