It’s official! Yash Raj Films’ Dhoom 3 will release worldwide on Friday, December 20th 2013. The film will get 21 open days at the box office before the release of Akshay Kumar’s Thuppakki remake which hits theatres on January 10th 2014.
Like Dabangg 2 last year, Dhoom 3 too will release on a working day and then enjoy a extended holiday period. It will be interesting to see if the film manages to the break the opening day or weekend records set by Chennai Express – which could well belong to Krrish 3 by the time Dhoom 3 releases!

teaser is good…wont be able to break to opening day and weekend record due to non holiday factor but in the long run it has excellent chances to be amongst the biggest hits of bollywood
disappointed nothing new. aamir doesn’t look good at all. hrithik has been done everything. nobody can do justice to this role except HR mr A. Hrithik is perfect for this role. i wish he would have been there instead of aamir.
guys it is fact that his looks is not suitable for action movies his face is cute like babies.
they should have cast jhon. teaser is not up to the mark coz of franchise movie will collect around 200 cr but cannot beat 3idiots and CE.
i won’t underestimate Aamir, and the Dhoom team can be banked upon.
aamir opened the 100 cr club, then 200 cr and he might just be the one who opens the 300 cr club, and the xmas holidays are going to be huge crowd puller.
Aamir should do an episode in satyamev jayate about india’s on going social issue called ‘insecurity of srk fans.’
In don 2 climax Srk’s Bike ride with Don 3 # plate was better than Aamir riding a Bike in the trailer….
@Nilesh: Do u even know about aamir’s real height? aamir’s real height is 5′ 4.5″ while salman’s is 5’6″,srk’s 5’8″ and saif’s 5’8.5″.So, by far Aamir is now a record holder of shortest villain ever unless a villain role is played by Rani Mukherjee!!
I hope the release date will change to 25th dec, 21 open days nothing only holiday mater for success for average content film, look at 1st ce got 6 open day col 225cr domestic, 205cr acc to boi and 410cr worldwide because of so many holidays. If d3 release 20th dec then yjhd 190cr looks huge, forget 225cr.

aamir is not silly, he studies every angle of the character before signing a film.
just watch the making of movie lagaan and how they worked on the character that would make believe people that a guy from a non-descript village can challenge the british empire.
srk lovers rip D3 will create record even if it opens on 31st dec! 7000 likes in 4.2 hrs ..the craze is phenomenal ! first 3 days will ensure 100 crores n den 23& 24th will give 20cr each and 25th and 26th another big one so 200 crore in a week is possible wait for it!

according to KRK Dhoom 3 will not break the record of CE. Let’s see what will happen but teaser was not very impressive, waiting for the threatical trailer..!!!

Very Good decision to release movie on 20th December.Now “Dhoom 3” will get 100+ crores weekend collection and 25+ crore collection on Christmas day and 1st week collection will be 150+ crores.
@ HNY: Both 5.8 ft and 5.6 ft is short in front of 6.1 ft of Amitabh, Akshay, Hrithik and John. Gets the fact right.

Height doesnt matter- its ability but then again if its a question of who was the better DON then Amit jis towering height advantage made his screen presence more stellar whereas the shorter Srk looked like chota cartoonish don in comparison.

After watching dozen of Aamir Khan films i got one think clear,untill today i didnt find any role done by Aamir is unsuit to him.
It may be Bhuvan of Lagan,Dj of RDB Or Rancho of 3 idiots.
A man who did only selected & suitable roles will never select any unsuitable role & never for a film like D3 which is most awaited film since 6 years.
I dont know what will be the boxoffice & records but we will surly has chance of watching another master piece from Aamir which is more important than records etc etc because we dont need any record which is created by stealing from our pockets with a average film.

opening day prediction is so difficult it has every chance to collect mote than 30cr on opening day but and weekend collection will close to 100cr or might 100+ but definitely first week surely more than 175cr+ if wom is positive and if not than 150cr+ but i think this is the movie who will break all existing record especially lifetime and non holiday records too.

@navin well said i think these folls don’t know even the Master Tendulkar is barely 5’3” but he is the Baap of all cricketers and those who were saying him kid when he started is international career now chewing their words lot of time, so height doesn’t matter for talent and a good actor can do any role, so don’t worry haters just focus on your fav actors movie rather than Aamir’s warna heart attack aa jayega tumko yaar.
