As I said before you bore me with that rubbish but as previously stated I dont have anything against Hrithik but as I said to sumeet earlier on- please re-read the 5 pages here and see how many fellow fans have been mocking Aamir on an Aamir page. Its undeniable that Hrithik was good but then again John in the first movie was not all that but obviously Aamir has his work cut out to match/ better Hrithik but Im sure the perfectionist that he is he will be more than upto the task. Bring it in abundance kid otherwise Peace out and let the boiled up blood cool down…!

Three Reasons Why ‘Perfectionist’ Aamir Khan Went Wrong With Dhoom 3

Well, the nation refers this man as the country’s baton keeper, perfectionist of sorts who is known for his keen sense of detailing and lucidity when it comes to his movies. While the actor allegedly takes extreme interest in making everything ‘perfect’ for his character on his movie sets, right from the real beard and moustache days in Mangal Pandey to the brilliant homework in the Satyameva Jayate series, this time Aamir has certainly got it totally wrong. Blame it on my colossal expectations or the towering hype that envelops the Dhoom franchise, this motion poster did not quite excite me as a viewer. Here are 3 reasons why I feel our Perfectionist Aamir went the No-Perfection route this time round.

1. Flaunting a sculpted body is one that has caught the nation frenzy since Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai and for that matter even before that. But with Hrithik’s already stellar performance and suave charisma imbibed within Dhoom 2’s main antagonist character, it was always difficult for an almost 50 year old to match up to his flexed and perfectly well built body that oozed sex appeal. Whilst Aamir waved magic with his body, flaunting an eight pack in Ghajini, he misses the mark by miles in the recently released Dhoom 3 motion poster. A character that needed to outdo the sex appeal and the charismatic aura created by the likes of John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan, Aamir’s flab took away from him looking fab in the poster. While I still believe Aamir will score notches higher than anyone in the acting department, Dhoom 3 is one franchise that needed something more than just the acting bit. Aamir fails there way too miserably.
P.S. The Hat did not help much either!
2. The entire motion poster looks exactly like a still out of The Dark Knight series. The International Dark Knight Poster released worldwide has strange resemblances with the Dhoom 3 poster with Aamir facing the window pane as helicopters fly sky high. Plagiarism anyone? Well, coming from our very own Perfectionist, this uncanny alikeness is our major point of criticism. Sorry Mr. Khan, but we do expect eons higher from an artist, as creative and talented as you.
3. The sky rocketing expectations and anticipation came to almost ground zero as the motion poster, which boasted of being a cutting-edge espionage thriller isn’t quite slick in its presentation. While Chicago locales are the only standpoints in this almost-a-minute long motion poster, the background theme seems to be copy-pasted straight out of a PC car chase game! Extremely gimmicky and not even remotely close of its earlier editions in terms of sheen or caliber the Dhoom 3 first look is an utter showdown.
Although the film does seem promising, more likely because of the presence of a certain Khan, the quality and technicalities that was the major attraction in the earlier editions, clearly looks to be missing from the first look. Hopefully, the trailer wouldn’t disappoint us! Fingers crossed.
Can anybody please tell me that what was there in the trailer which is better than Dhoom 2?? In fact, the Dhoom 2 stunts and action were far better than this one. Simple bike riding and too commonly seen bike stunts, nothing else was there. It seems that they didn’t even spend more than 60 crore on the movie while they claimed once that the budget is 100 crore.
The Krrish 3 edge
Says trade analyst Amod Mehra, “We haven’t seen the trailer of Dhoom 3 so it’s a bit early to comment on that film, yet as far as expectations are concerned, I think Krrish 3 has a slight edge over Dhoom 3 because D3 is an established brand and the audience knows what to expect. Hrithik has already been established as a superhero in the earlier Krrish 1 and 2 so now people expect D3 to be a full fun film where the audience comprises family and children. They will come to see something different than the usual robbery, thrills and chases of Dhoom series.
Also, Krrish 3 has a super villain for the first time. It is looking more exciting, polished and of international standard so I would say K3 has an edge of five per cent over D3. Rakesh Roshan is one of the most under-rated filmmakers. In Dhoom 3 what we are expecting to see is Aamir Khan who is expected to carry the film on his shoulders. Both films can gross anything between Rs 210-225 crores each. Each has that achievable target. Both have strong content.”

i. 1.52 million views in less than 20 hrs.
ii. 16.5 K likes against 3.6 K dislikes.
In Facebook Concise Box Office, D3 is the only article with around 400 likes, other are struggling to get even 150 likes.
In Facebook Koimoi Page D3 article got 586 likes as of now, Chennai Express article on same day, got 226 likes.
This considering the fact that, without a single tweet by Aamir Sir.
We will watch both Krish 3 this Deewali and Dhoom 3 this Christmas.

someone mentioned that there is an aamir scene in chennai express, that ha got me excited to watch chennai express, apart frm that when chennai express trailor was released, nobody saw it and now srk fans are talking about dhoom3 with such an amazing response with only its teaser.

Why Dhoom 3 can”t do 200 crore?My analysis is below.
1.CE was a full on family film whereas Dhoom 3 isn”t looking like that.All types and ages of people can see Chennai Express but Dhoom 3 is an action thriller.So i think it will not get very much good response from family audience.But youngsters will like it as it has some kick-ass action sequence.
2.Aamir can”t match the on screen charisma of Salman and SRK.So if Dhoom 3 hasn”t good content,then failure of movie is sure shot!I think movie will get good opening because of good promotion and huge buzz but rest will depent on content.Music is one of the pluspoint as Pritam always gives chartbuster music.Young people will like it for Katrina.
3.In domestic,movie can”t give all rounder performance like CE.Because CE did exceptionally good business in mass dominated areas and even in south!Actually it has opened the door of Hindi cinema in south.CE got advantage from south because of it”s name.But Dhoom 3 will not get that benefit from south.Movie will do good business in multiplex and single screen both but i think movie will not be able to hold the steadiness of business in single screen which was the pillar of CE.CE was for all ages of people but Dhoom 3 is for youngsters.If Aamir dies in the movie in climax,then movie will be sure shot failure!So my main point is that Dhoom 3 is looking like a classy film but will get some massy audience because of being a huge franchise.
4.Movie has good chances to do well in overseas due to it”s genre and release size.I think it”s the main pillar of Dhoom 3.Because movie is looking like an international film.So My prediction is 190-195 crore in India at most and 120-130 crore in overseas.Though i”m looking forward for the trailer as i couldn”t see much thing in teaser.
May be krrish3 and dhoom3 become collect 150 to190 become blockbuster bt it is impossible to surpass chennai express
