Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3 has taken a record-breaking start, collecting Rs 20.22 crore at the overseas box office on Day 1. The film has set new opening day records in USA/Canada, UAE/GCC, Australia, New Zealand and Pakistan.
The worldwide total on Friday is a humongous Rs 56.44 cr – biggest ever for any Hindi film. And what’s more, Dhoom 3 released during the ‘pre-Christmas’ period, which is considered to be dull for movie business in countries like USA, Canada, UK and Australia.

@amit 900 Rs ticket is for Imax only which r just 4 or 5 in whole India.Very few people r watching “Dhoom 3″ in Imax and everyone is watching it on other multiplexes or single screens theatres in normal ticket prices.If u can’t afford to watch movie in Imax or any other multiplex go n watch it in any single screen theatre for 40 Rs.”Dhoom 3” ticket is also available for 40 Rs.

As per my opinion it don’t deserve to break record of 3i, but movies like 3i is comes in years so it not possible that its record remain unbroken for years, so d3 is far better than ce according to me as i watched this. So if ce collected 208cr than why not d3 it is better product. I am disappointed with Dhoom:3. Guess my expectations were sky high because of Aamir Khan. It’s not worth missing for sure, you must watch it. Undoubtedly great action and good twists, but didn’t feel like a ‘Dhoom’ movie. Still nice.

instead of aamir if salman was there it would definitly crossed 40 crore . dhoom brand is responsible for collection not aamir. so don’t give credit to him.if he has power taalash would hAve become superhit. all aamir moron fans enjoying as if its due to aamir movie collected . wait for next month this record will b broken. then poor aamir will cry n not able to wear lungi also.
