The makers of Dhoom 3 have already made a promise to end the year with a ‘Dhoom’. But producer Aditya Chopra, actor Aamir Khan (known to be a marketing genius) and the marketing team behind the film is in search of a ‘never before idea’ to promote the film.
Apparently, Chopra has told his entire Dhoom 3 team that unless there is an idea that has been never used on a film before, they should not even be discussing anything regular or something that has be done before.
A source close to the film says “All marketing initiatives from theatrical trailer launch to music launch to every other activity will be done in a never seen before avatar”
An industry insider who is known to be close the Chopra’s adds “Dhoom 3 is YRF’s most ambitious film to date. Its also their most successful franchise. The last film was the biggest grosser of all time when it released, so they will be going all out to make this one the biggest too. Aamir’s presence is going to be another huge factor that will take the franchise to an altogether different level”
Starring Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra, Dhoom 3 is scheduled for theatrical release on December 20 2013. Will the year end with a Dhoom? Only time will tell.

i have seen here that people are bad mouthing SRK……If you go to salman,akshay,ajay or even Rabir’s articles haters of SRK are bad mouthing him……SRK is common in every article…each and every actor compares to SRK…that’s a reality anyways..shows his global fan base……everyone envies his stardom and No.1 position in bollywood….keep on hating….KING Khan rocks…

I’ll be surprised if DHOOM 3 crosses 200 cr. The casting of Amir & Kathrina Kaif is odd. Amir does not have the persona of a true villain, he seems more like a fuss pot which suited him fine in 3 Idiots Katrina is more of an arm candy still cannot act after a decade in BW. The DHoom story line is a masala of Hollywood action movies. This is a movie for the Multiplex niche so they better look for an angle to capture this market segment.
Sure shot blockbuster and i expect Aamir brains and kats beauty for the movie which makes a complete entertainer

@Aks don’t underestimate the power of king khan. His week script film easiliy cross 200cr worldwide n average script film cross 420cr worldwide, so just imagine what happen if a good script film of srk comes, if hny comes near to mai hoo na than it easily cross 500cr, mark my words.
i’m not fan of srk , salman n aamir … If u cast ranveer singh in Dhoom then also dhoom will b creat some new records .. 100% sure b’coz the impact of this frachaise is so much on public … yes aamir is super star but not as much srk & salman 100% true ..
