Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan thanked his fans and well-wishers after ‘Dhoom 2’, one of the biggest blockbusters of his career, completed 10 years.
The actor said, the film will always be a milestone that he will cherish.
“Thank you for the trend guys. ‘Dhoom 2’ will always be a milestone I will cherish. Love you all.”
Hrithik’s co-actor Abhishek Bachchan also thanked his fans, producer Aditya Chopra, co-stars and his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
“10 Years ‘Dhoom 2’ the best of friends and the best memories. Thank you Sanjay Gadhvi, Uday Chopra, Bipasha Basu, Hrithik and the Mrs,” Abhishek tweeted.
“#10YearsDhoom2 to Adi for believing in us and the entire crew for supporting us.” he posted in his next tweet.
Released on November 24 2006, ‘Dhoom 2’ opened to full houses across the country. The morning shows were running ‘over occupancy’ with extra chairs added to accommodate the crowd. The film went on to become the highest grosser of all time. It was also the biggest year of Hrithik’s career when he delivered two back-to-back blockbusters and ended the year as the biggest star in the industry.
Congratulations to whole team of Dhoom 2 for completing 10 years.

Either this fool is doing a bang bang – remake of flop Day n knight or he’s doing legal hassles against a sick starlet… No wonder he’s a fool that’s why suzzanne left him… The only success he has got is either under Rakesh Roshan’s direction or Yash Raj’s production… Now he’s copying Mr n Mrs Smith… He never brings novelty…

One of my most favourite movies till date . I remember I was in 7th Std when I watched Dhoom 2 with my entire family . Hrithik as Mr. A was just amazing . The action sequences were top notch, good music and electrifying chemistry between Hrithik and Aishwarya made a huge impact . This movie has a terrific recall value on TV . I would love to see Hrithik again in D4 . I hope D4 if made is directed by Sanjay Gadhvi not Victor who made D3 which was a joke . Champion Sirf Ek Hota Hai Aur Uski Jagah Koi Nahi Le Sakta !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like uncle Navin didn’t get the FDFS tickets for Dhoom 2 even after trying too hard…and that frustration of not getting FDFS for his favorite star Hrithik’s movie is still haunting him after 10 years. Doctors has said this is incurable and has requested the general public to have sympathy to uncle Navin coz these type of mental condition happens to one in a million.
Congrats team Dhoom2 and especially the uber charismatic superstar Hrithik Roshan for turning Dhoom into an international franchise after a normal hit movie Dhoom in 2004.
