Acclaimed filmmaker Kabir Khan is all set to begin shooting for his next film after the critically acclaimed and commercially successful ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. The film has been titled ‘Tubelight’.
Quite a few rumours have been doing the rounds, but the makers haven’t yet signed any Indian lady to play the lead opposite Salman. There are reports that a Chinese girl has been signed, but the makers haven’t yet confirmed the same.

Interestingly, a industry insider has said that Salman will be playing a mentally challenged man-child, who grows up to learn and understand things. The subject is said to be sensitive and Kabir will be giving a ‘human touch’ to the film, just like he did with his previous film which went on to be one of the most watched films of all time.
Another trade veteran, who didn’t want to be named said, it’ll be the most emotional and heart touching film of Salman’s career. At least on paper (script), the film has shaped up very well.
It’s also worth noting that Salman and Kabir’s last film was also shot in the stunning locals of Kashmir.
‘Tubelight’ also stars Sohail Khan in an important role. The film will release in theatres on June 23 2017.

For some reasons, I have a strange feeling to this project. First of all title name is awkward, then some Chinese actor, Salman playing mentally challenge (I hope it is just a rumor) & finally Sohail Khan playing a role. I hope Kabir Khan is not complacent after huge success of BB !!!!!!!!! I hope my feelings get proved wrong.
