Dabangg 2 has collected Rs 19 crore on it’s second day at the box office. The two day cumulative total is Rs 40 crores net.
- Friday – 20.98 crore
- Saturday – 19 crore
- Total – 39.98 crore
After excellent collections on Day 1, business at single screens witnessed a slight drop. Multiplexes across the country remained steady, although the expected jump in business for the evening/night shows didn’t happen.
The film is off to a good start on Sunday and should put up bigger numbers. The word-of-mouth is mixed and Dabangg 2 certainly isn’t carrying excellent reports like the first film did in 2010.

@RIKISHI. Ett did more than $10 million overseas with some 550 screens and mind you it didnt release in pak, otherwise the total could have been more than $12 million. But the most worrying factor for srk fans is that though srk is still the king at overseas box office, aamir,salman & hrithik are steadily increasing their presence overseas and after 3 years, either aamir or hrithik will rule the overseas ahead of srk.
@NVS, there’s a balance between the both, on either side . . There’s a sense of ignorance in bith leagues, Salman fans and SRK fans, sometimes, provide both illogical and sometimes sensible argument. Now each collective respectively consists of individuals, whose views and opinions vary and will continue to.
