It’s official. Shah Rukh Khan will share screen space with Sunny Leone in his upcoming film ‘Raees’ which is being directed by Rahul Dholakia.
The producer of the film, Ritesh Sidhwani, confirmed the news on Twitter.
Ritesh said “So we have Laila – Sunny Leone, SRK & baniya ka Dimaag Rahul Dholakia in Raees.. Are you wondering what’s next?”
Sunny replied “Sooooo excited to be a part of of this !!” she later added that it’s a dream come true.
The two actors will be dancing to the tunes of the ‘Qurbani’ song ’Laila o Laila’ which originally featured the late Feroz Khan and Zeenat Aman.
A source had earlier said “Raees is set in the ’80s and there was a need of a song sequence. The makers unanimously selected “Laila O Laila“ which perfectly fits with the dark, gangster theme and period. It was suggested to Shah Rukh Khan and it was his idea to get Sunny Leone on board. A lavish set is being created in Mumbai and rehearsals are on in full swing”

Made those comments back when that Zarine movie had released and it was in those SRK vs Salman bashing articles where I had said that. As far as I remember probably some Salman fan had talked about the typical SRKs Maya mem saheb comment and how clean Salman has been or may be it was a discussion about SRK launched heroines doing better. It was more of a Salman bashing comment made in anger.
Salman would have recommended those movies to them as they were probably not getting any offers and they needed those movies for survival. He did that to help them. But he still recommended them to do that movie so I had just stated a fact. Right?
And what is the relevance of that thing here? SRK is not recommending Sunny to do a movie with hot love making scenes. It is just an item song which is found in every other movie nowadays and has been done by almost all top actresses including Deepika, Katrina, Kareena, Priyanka, etc. Deepika has already done ‘Lovely’ item song with SRK so I dont know why everyone is acting so weird here in case of Sunny Leone?
And if it is because Sunny is an ex porn star then that is her PAST. I am all for her having a great career in bollywood and would be great if she becomes a huge success here and so never returns to her old profession. Even in Zarine and Daisys case I never called them pornstars. It was more of Salman bashing which happens at times in SRK vs Salman arguments even though I try to avoid that as I also like Salman.
And found it quite odd when u say that SRK needs help and support and the entire aukaat stuff. It is pretty much simple that item songs are not included because the star is not confident about his stardom but these are just add ons which increase the hype of the movie a bit. A bit that is it. Quite a long answer to ur comment. Thats why I avoid answering to such comments as it wastes time. But then the problem is that if one doesnt respond it gives an impression that one is running away. In my case I ignore many such comments just to save time.
