Vidyut Jamwal’s Commando has fared reasonably well at single screen theaters in it’s first weekend at the box office. Riding on the power of it’s action genre at mass-centres, the film had a better opening than Ayushmann Khurana’s Nautanki Saala on Friday.
Business dipped by around 5-7% on Saturday and picked up again on Sunday. The film managed to collect Rs 11 cr in it’s opening weekend, with a distributor share of around Rs 6-6.5 crore.
Overall, Commando has given a massive boost to Vidyut’s career as an action hero. Except to see a lot more of him in the near future.
