Imtiaz Ali, who directs Shah Rukh Khan in the upcoming yet-to-be-titled film, has said “clashes are not a big deal” when there are so many films and only 52 weeks in a year.
His keenly-awaited film releases in theatres during the Independence Day weekend with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’, which was earlier scheduled to release on June 2.
“There are only 52 weeks in a year and some of them have been taken away by other things and of course, there are more than 52 films. So, clashes are not a big deal” Imtiaz Ali said.
The filmmaker also said they haven’t yet decided on the title. The working title of the film was ‘The Ring’.
“The name of the film is not yet decided, we have some time. On August 11, the film is going to release. So we will announce the name soon” Imtiaz said at a film event.
Those who tell srk is the king of bollywood. . Is not right.. because in last 3 decades salman khan has ruled 2 decades.. it’s just from 2000 to 2009 salman’s career graph was very low…. bt srk always had maintained great consistency in last 25 years… aamir khan was always a better actor bt he did not have so many successful films before 2006.. bt still is one of the greatest superstars in bollywood. .. and ajay is also a great actor bt has too many failures.. akshay is also one of the best actors in bollywood. . Perhaps he would reach a higher position in upcoming years due to his choice of films… in 90s sunny deol sanjay dutt.. and especially govinda also had many successful films and sunny also had gadar in 2001 bt none of them ever managed to surpass the khans… this trilogy was only seen when dev anand dilip kumar and raj kapoor acted.. obviously they were better than the khans bt still bollywood has never seen such dominance before and may not see again …….. khans may rule for more 9 to 10 years .. really hat’s off to the khans….
will not talk about collectiono or content of the film but this film will be a beautiful one .

Clash is definitely a big deal especially when it takes place on non holiday . Clashing on EDX can be a big advantage as people don’t mind spending their money on 2 big films . But in non holiday people spend their money wisely and hence the clash on Independence Day will be something to watch out for . !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very true who knows better than srk. his movies outperformed other right from beginning of his career. Some morons like tiger d real chuha said in earlier posts that srk had more reliable due to diwali but he didn’t know this types of trend like holiday weekend festives realised start nowadays when collection totally depends on weekend only like sallu lot’s of eid realised showed 85% of total collection in weekend only that’s why he obsessed for eid. We calling him eid boy just because in last 10 year his frustration to getting eid is damn high. You can’t gives same back to back diwali booking scenario for srk he is not bothered about diwali like sallu for eid he came on diwali earlier in two or 4 years gap. And he is not only one otherstar also came on diwali like kkhh v/s choote miya bade miya, veer zara v/s aitraj, don v/s janeman, mohhabatein v/s MK and many more sallu also came solo on diwali many times but delivered lots of disater like mai aur mrs. Khanna, janeman, kyu ki and many more his success ratio on diwali is lesser than ajay akki also came on diwali with blue, tashan, action replay and many more and other hand unlike salman srk came only once on eid with CE only 5days free run and gave an ATHG. so it’s eid which is making sallu that’s why this types of scenario like desperate for getting eid any how by eid wala boy.
