Aamir Khan’s PK is the highest grossing film in the history of Indian Cinema. The film has smashed records in every country where it has released.
The response in China, where the film got a wide 4600 screen release, is outstanding. PK has collected Rs 90 crore in the neighbouring country and should eventually cross the 100 crore mark.
Rajkumar Hirani, the director of the film, says he never imagined that PK would be received so well.
“I had never imagined that ‘PK’ would be received so lovingly in China. A rating of 8.8, a 4,600-screen release and business as huge as of North America. It furthers my belief that content is king.”
‘PK’ is also the highest grossing Indian film in North America, Australia, New Zealand and Pakistan.

In the last years much awaited film article when Indicine said that pk is most awaited film of the year, srk fans like @sakhi,@romu and mental complan boy@sss said the Raju is not bigger director as compared to Farah khan and Rohit shetty. And the same are saying PK is Raju films only not Aamir, at least they admit Raju hirani is biggest following in overseas than srk.lol.
Raju hirani is by far the best director of Bollywood in recent time and I hope he will continue the same.
@saksham may be your personal opinion but pk is well appreciated film worldwide, Raju can’t make a munna bhai or 3i consitently, pk might be not great like those but is far better than any film which release last year who appeal to all section of audience, pk got rating of 8.4 at imdb so by not any means pk was a bad attempt of Raju, if you don’t find it much worthy its your taste but that doesn’t applicaple for all.
Yes all films which was holiday released in past 8 years were highest grosser of the year that point is accepted.In today’s scenerio I don’t think any non holiday film can become highest grosser of the year.But that can happen for overseas market.
